I always thought that Lorene Yarnell was wasted on the whole mime fad…Such a brilliant dancer, the mime thing got old really quickly, and unlike Shields, she had much more going for her talent than just mime. Waste of time for her considering what she was capable of doing. Rest In Peace Lorene Yarnell - perhaps her career being stifled by Shields’ narrow vision was the thing that broke them up - who knows?

This is how you depict a 1930s comic film noir with great style and music to boot. The lights that wash the road with a blue hue with the aura of lighting from the buildings. The colored suits and the additional facial features really makes this film up there in artistry and class.
