The door handle appears to be on the left, the tryer is still on the left. What is the open/lock mechanism for the door on this one as compared to the r1 where the tryer handle locks the door in place?

Thank you for making the Aillio Bullet R1 upgradable. When I first heard about the R2, I was concerned that I had invested in a great roaster too soon. However, by providing an upgrade path for existing customers, your company has demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. This initiative significantly boosts my confidence in upgrading my R1. I also hope that the upgrade is priced in a way that makes it an easy decision to further invest in the R1.

Can we buy the new cooling tray separately?

Yes, but only once the stock is ready for shipping, which is expected to be around October to November. :)

Great answers, and thank you for explaining the difference between the R2 and the R2 Pro (fyi, R2 Pro includes the cooling tray and has more power that the R2)

Over 2 years later and we still don’t have one available to purchase… :/
The bullet doesn't need more power. It needs better airflow management

It has exactly that. A new technology called FlowSense

Are all winning competition roasts, light roasts? I don't even know anybody in my circle that drinks light roasts, so why does it seem like the emphasis is always on light and sweet in these types of competitions? It seems that the majority of coffee drinkers would prefer a medium roast.

Great! Now we have video in Spanish. When comes it in Portuguese? Maybe I must learn to use Aillio R1 before, and make Portuguese videos after. I bought a Aillio yesterday. It is difficult to me.

This is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Would love hearing more about her actual ideas about how mixology and coffee interact. I feel like extraction methods apply to both in a big way right now with the invention of oleo citrate, super juice, nitrous extraction and on the coffee side extraction theory work by Gagné and Hedrick, which applies to Spirit infusion just the same as coffee (pressurized wood aging? Grinding? Alcohol as solvent in coffee?) there is so much to learn in these two gastronomical rabbit holes

For the extreme price point it does not even have a coffee bean cooler up front...no way..not worth the money....people who buy this thing have no idea the worth of a dollar...you will have to roast like hell and sling thousands and thousands of cups of coffee before you even break even on this thing...no way from a business standpoint is this even feasible.. welcome to bankrupcy!

How soon after roasting do you cup your coffee to get a fair understanding of whether your roast was successful or not. Have you simply learned to " taste through the C02" if you do cup within 24 hours?

Question on thermal cycling. I work on cars and one of the issues you see on exhaust manifolds which heat up and cool a lot is that the thermal cycling will eventually fatigue the metal, do you anticipate this to be a future concern on the bullet?
@Jacob-yh9dp8 ай бұрын
Good question. The temperatures on the drum are less than on an exhaust manifold (maximum 340 C), so I don't think this would ever become a problem. In any case, other roasters would have the same problem as they are heated to about the same temperatures.

We love our bullet. The Bullet handles our commercial roasting at Hazard Coffee Company. We are daily roasting 1kg batches back to back all day.
