This version doesn’t sound weird. I guess some people are upset they can hear Floor too well. I would also guess they were always disappointed that Floor’s voice was raised in the mix since she joined NW (compared to mixing Tarja’s voice) and not just on this song.🤷‍♂️

Yes, Troy. From the water to the land and back to the water where it all began. The cycle continues. The mix puts her more in the mix which adds a haunting almost ghostly effect to this song. It was mixed that way as part of the concept of the song. Welcome back Bruce!

Floors voice in the chorus is supposed to blend with the choir, she's a part of them. Tuomas spent months on mixing this album to get it exactly how he wanted us to hear it. "Fixing" the mix and uploading it as a "better" version is just incredibly disrespectfull. This version sounds weird.

I know I should have listened to the original first, but I never had issues with Nightwish arena, I use their videos for live performances. I mainly wanted subtitles. I love you all.

Well Nightwish dont dissapoint "do you fell the ghost energy song" I listened to this song maybe 50 times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when it can work so to me. Some say Floors voice is low in the mix, and i can agree its hard to get all words she sing, but if you look at it soundwise it sounds amazing!! and after a listen or 2, you know most of lyrics, and its no problem at all, its done fully on purpose for the sound experince of it.. cant wait for rest of album!! Yesterwynde is the opening track on new album, i belive its only like a intro, its a little over 2 min long, #2 on album then is a almost 10 min song, thats proberly another epic!! #3 is where i think they bring in a heavy track, and this Perfume of the timeless is #5.. so i think its gonna be a good mix of heavy songs, Epics, and maybe a full balled.. Yes, it was Troy singing at the end. Floor's voice lower in the mix was intentional, drummer Kai Hahto confirmed this. She is supposed to be part of the chorus. A chorus of ancestors maybe. Tuomas does everything for a reason. Kudos to Nightwish Arena for the lyric subtitles and 4k. Epic video though. Seen this several dozen times, and still finding details. From the upcoming album Yesterwynde, due out Sep 20. It's the 3rd in a trilogy of albums, along with Endless Forms Most Beautiful and Human:II:Nature, all dealing with life, science, evolution, etc. They didn't know what to call this album, how to express it in words, so they made up a word. Troy came up with Yesterwynde. You've done 2 from EFMB (Shudder Before the Beautiful and yours is an Empty Hope) and none from Human nature. When you come back to NW, and to get a better idea of the themes of the trilogy, check out "Weak Fantasy" and the 21 minute "The Greatest Show On Earth", both EFMB, and both played at Tampere 2015 or Wembley 2015. "Noise" is a good start on Human Nature, that has a great music video, lives from Deichbrand and Hellfest 2022.

The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version. Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One.
