Hope your health gets better. Nice mixer, just started watching, looking to see if you use Dante. It is ideal for extra in/out. Sadly I font have DM 3 money, but a behringer x18 with a mini pc running dante via goes a long way for under 800$ 😂 Do NOT get anything ASUS if you dont have to. Their service/waranty is awfull/non existent

Good information. I use smaart ¿It's the 15 band of graphic EQ on Main enough for EQ/Tuning a room? To get a flat response.

Just a question. I saw that you use Logic Pro. Can you tell me if the DM3 can control fully Logic Pro ? Thx
@grabyermike40994 ай бұрын
Sorry for late replay - I only use Logic for tracking. Occasionally I use it for cutting and fast mixing. I mix in Luna (UAD) after I have transferred the recordings from logic. Usually it is just a matter of re balancing and levelling out the mix. The DM3 has truly fantastic purity in the sound I record. The most important thing to consider is your mic quality and of course the placement of the source in the set up (And good musicians with a basic understanding of stage volume) I never intended to use this mixer in my studio set up... Only as a very compact high quality live board. Thank you for showing interest in my channel. Jan.

About the only thing I could say is pull a little bit of low-mid out of that vocal, and you got it.

Thanks for the tips and your Audio examples are GOLDEN!! The depth of the converters on the DM3 are incredible! Please post more music bc you are the only youtuber who is showing what the DM3 sounds like. Again thank you!

I record Jazz as well. I want to invest into one of these when they get released again. They're on backordered which sucks lol.

Congratulations for your Prize! Very nice sound ! I very appreciate! Amazing Yamaha DM3! I already have a Yamaha 01v but this one finally reaches musician and audio producer friendly status within a single, very good value for money package. I don't know if it's fair to compare it to the SSL Big Six. among other analog mixers with USB multichannel digital interface. but I was really impressed. It's apparently what I need in my studio and in my live performances. Greetings from Brazil The best regards Cheers:)

For ordinary musicians and producers, often on a low budget, I see that professional audio technology is at a wonderful and insane moment at the same time. For example, old consoles like the 01v96 have a sample rate of up to 96khz and many possibilities for inputs and outputs, expansion slots or connection to audio networks. Almost all digital mixers, consoles and stage boxes with AVB, USB multichannel interface or other systems sold and released today offer a maximum of 48 kHz sample rate and reduced possibilities for in outs. DSPs have become much more powerful but resources and in outs have reduced, prices remain the same... What do you mean? And the integration of man, hardware and software, with this immense war of protocols (AVB, DANTE, MADI, AES50, AVIOM, COBRANET, RAVENNA, Q-LAN, ETC) WHAT CRAZY! Please, I just need a stable, durable system with good A_D and D-A converters with 16 or 24 channels, midi in out and a control surface, it can be a touch monitor. I need to create, produce, mix, master at home and also take the same system to the stage. I really like Logic Audio and also Ableton Live. Maybe the Waves sound grid system is what I need, I already discovered it several years ago and it seems that its acceptance is growing Thanks Cheers :)

Kjempehygg at du responderer slik Roy. Vi sees snart på Jazzklubben. Jeg er booket in for å gjøre Thord Gustavsen .... Det blir kult. Jeg legger foreløpig ut ganske trivielle ting. Hilser så mye fra Edit.

Jan Skattør, or His Dudeness, as I like to call him, is really my Captain of sound. His competence is really useful for me as I´m trying to navigate through a sea of information in my attempt to establish a new home studio for voiceover! I enjoy his KZfaq Channel very much, and recommend it to all sound interested folks!
