No matter how Reg may seem like the worst influence to have around Jake, but there’s no denying that he genuinely loved his lil brother, Reg was raised in the streets and was really young to take care of Jake while Trig couldn’t, he wanted Jake to be strong enough for the real world and to protect and love him the way he only could. I feel like they shouldn’t have killed Coogie character off until the end of the first season. I feel like it would’ve made more of an impact, and gave people more insight to who he was. Also, one thing that always threw me off was what happened to all the detectives and other characters after season two.
