Nice! -- QUESTION -- I don't understand why, at times, the rear wheel was not turning while the front wheel was turning. Shouldn't they all be locked and turning on this? What gives?

I have a 97 k1500 z71 been in the family for 2 generations. Now has rebuilt motor and trans ain't the best in looks but I can get where I need to go in the winter while people in their new cars cant even get out of their drive way to go to the store without being shoveled out and these are the people who talk shit about my whip. 90s Chevy trucks are damn reliable in winter
@miketee24442 жыл бұрын
These old chevs aren't perfect but dam close. Certain weak links will break if abused but it's not smart engineering bulletproof vehicles. They are definitely the most reliable and cheapest to maintain of any truck on the market

They don't make em like they used to. Good ole truck doing what they used to do and still hold up. Love to see a modern Chevy do this. It would probably break in half. Or a bunch of sensors would go off and shut it down.

Typical flat lander, coming to the mountains. If I ever see you driving off road like this on public land, it will be the last time! Stay on the damn roads, this is how roads and access get closed! Punk!!!!
@threespeed64152 жыл бұрын
Again Jefferson County proving there is no one on duty at the gene pool! And you wonder why more public & private lands are closed off to everyone! Stay on the trails!!! Or in your case stay on the river bottoms and hunt elk. Cool truck though! Just cause you can doesn’t mean you should!!

I don't know how many times I have seen this. The main issue is that getting enough traction and not getting high centered. the right set of tires alot of times will help with not needing chains. There are the times when you need chains, but you have to know when to get off the throttle with chains too. you can find yourself more stuck than the other person or you were before you put them on if you don't watch it. I have dug holes in asphalt with tire chains to just get unstuck. that was only one set of chains and not 2 sets. I got out. worst half is that I had to put the chains on and I wasn't even with or around when the other got stuck...lol
