The scents they spray out gives me asthma attacks.. hate it. The noice inside very unnerving and not relaxing.. I get stressed out from loud music and slot machines .. have to put in earplugs .. sometimes the lights or the machines brightness to sharp and hurt my eyes that I need to wear my sunglasses .. then added frustration that after 200 games no decent wins. But silly me keeps going back. I know, it’s only myself to blame. Luckily I don’t go every day. Maybe once every 2 weeks.

Dopamine, bitch....... But let me tell you something. First of all, I get that the house always wins. I really do. I get that. At the end if the day, at the end of the month, at the end of the year, they're always ahead. But they don't win against me everytime. NO, SIR! I FREQUENTLY WIN. And I'm not talking chicken feed. I'm talking thousands of dollars, that I sometimes gain very quickly. I've got it to the point where it's about 50/50. I win thousands when I play to win thousands about half the time. The downside is that when it doesn't work out, I lose thousands, and it can be pretty devastating mentally. The ups and downs of the roller coaster. I just wanna get off!! Actually, I'm off it right now. I haven't gambled for a while, and I have no desire to at the moment. I'm off the merry-go-round! But the dopamine, those thrills. There's actually nothing quite like it........ I'm in my 60's. I've been gambling in casinos in Nevada and elsewhere since the 1970's, before I was actually even legal to gamble. I looked older when I was young, and I used to sneak in and play slots when I was in my teens. Most of the time, I never even got carded. So, I know a lot about what to play, what to stay away from, and HOW to play if you want to win big. I've developed that knowledge, and that knack over the years. People who poo-poo systems when it comes to gambling don't know what they're talking about. Lots of good sytems exist that can be implemented in hopes of winning big. In fact, if you DON'T have some kind of a system, some kind of a plan about how you're going to play, how you're going to execute whatver it is that you're going to do, and you're nothing but a willy-nilly gambler who's next move is unpredictable and random without any planning going into any of it, you are likely going to be the one who runs out of money first, barring some kind of outrageous luck. But anyway.......No more roller coaster for me right now, please.......... (Sigh......)

It’s entertainment, and can be fun. What I learned is take what you want to play with, and leave your debit card at home, you take $100, you may leave with more, but you want lose more than the $100.

You forgot about losses disguised as wins. You bet $1 and win .50 cents.

Honestly, no tricks required. All the games are in the house's favor since it's all about making money. People are delusioned and think they can make tons of money off the casino. If you have an edge, they'll just ban you from the property.
