This is a great technique, I can see many applications it'd be nice as a fabric for a scultural bag but I definetly think it'd be great as a sculpture or in a hanging! Absolutely fabulous....thank you for sharing ❤ There's one good thing about being a textile artist/designer and that's that A.I won't be able to do it...I'm hoping that the demand for textile art will be in higher demand since A.I can easily replicate and create images well.

I dislike purple....as a retired fashion designer and textile surface decorator i always found it so hard to include purple fabric into any of my designs/ranges especially as in the 60's and 70's purple was so popular. I still shudder these days looking at purple clothes in stores.

How much extra fabric do you need to get your target dimensions? Like if you want to end up with a 12x12” square, do you start with a 24x24” square?

Love the spiral fabric slashing piece, it would make gorgeous framed artwork. I thought you were going to add the beaded spiral to the slashed fabric spiral somehow. My brain is getting a bit old!

I really like that beige/tan top with the fringe on the front!! I have a pair of ankle boots, same colour with fringe on them. Too bad the shop is thousands of miles away. 😊. I am in USA.

Hi.. I love Charity Shopping as well and over the years I have bought some beautiful clothes which are always remarked on. I know Alderley Edge very well as I used to live in Macclesfield and have visited all the ones there. Many years ago I went in one of them, I can’t remember which one! and saw two designer men’s shirts on the counter, they had just been brought in. I bought them both and in fact my husband still has one in the wardrobe, he loved it so much he didn’t want to wear it out. When I go over from Nottingham where I live now to meet up with former work colleagues I always do Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Knitsford.
