Hi Chandler, we are phasing out the crumb rubber plates and have very limited stock. The AMP plates are replacing the crumb plates. AMP plates are made to be just as durable with a smoother finish.

Same process but you would use expansions bolts and you don’t need to look for studs ahaha just drill where you would like the rack

3/8 lag, 4inches long, using atleast 4 studs....thats for the stringer. To bolt hinges to stringer you need 5/8 lag 2inches long

A vertical stringer is okay. If the stud is also vertical, which is mostly the case, the installer would need to be certain to hit the center of the stud, on a concrete wall, no problem. We pre-drill the holes in the stringer. Using 3/8” drill and then a 1/2” lag that is 3.5” is used and it does not hit the concrete. The lags for the stingers do hit the concrete.

Thanks! The extra Stringer is not needed, but it will make it more sturdy and will allow you to use a longer lag bolt on the uprights. No more than it cost it would be worth it. As for fastening to the cinder block wall or concrete wall. We used a 3/8” x 3” Tapcon www.homedepot.com/p/Tapcon-3-8-in-x-3-in-Hex-Washer-Head-Large-Diameter-Concrete-Anchor-10-Pack-11413/203770115?gclid=CPzwz5XWztECFYc9gQodGicBqg&gclsrc=aw.ds put at least 8 in each the top and the bottom stringer. These require a pilot hole and most of the packs come with the pilot bit but it will tell you the bit size on the package. Sink the head of the anchor into the stringer to allow the install kit stringer to fit flush. If you purchase the install kit, the 3/8” lags will be too long and will pass through your two stringers and will hit the concrete. You will need to find some shorter.
