Hello Bogdan, I'd be happy to answer your friendly question. The Dual speakers still sound very nice to my ears. But you have to remember the "sound ideal" of the 1970s. Back then, people wanted to listen less analytically, like on a studio monitor, but valued a "nice" round sound. So the Dual - to my ears - are a little bass-heavy, but not too much. But they also reproduce the mids and highs very well. What else struck me: With the very high-quality processed parts in the original wood veneer, you can listen for hours in a "relaxed" manner. @@georgwamuth381 I listen a lot to music from the 70s and even earlier, I like the loudspeakers built in Germany during that period. i have 3 pairs of speakers from the 70's. canton le 250, canton le 350 and canton le 600. dual cl 142 i think sounds similar to canton. but I'm curious and I'd like to have them. I found them at a good price...thanks for the reply!
