This is so important to me. I am going at the end of June on June 30 to see York with my girlfriend and on July 1 to do an experience. It was meant to be a 2 car experience with 3 laps but the nice people at the operator gave me an upgrade to a 4 car experience doing 6 laps. The Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari F430, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the McLaren 470S. But they gave me another thrown in. The new Mercedes AMG. So I am trying to learn all I can so I can be a better driver on the day. I am a massive supercar fan and want to do myself proud and do it properly. Not just arse about.

i suggest taking the cap off and letting it spray out all the gunk that might have accumulated in the hose whilst it was clogged

This is the lucky case unfortunately i just changed the motor in my wife 120i its no big deal if you don't go to BMW dealer COST AROUND 50 eur.

Yooo... good laugh for big old cars , get a manual swap done dude they actually become quite responsive. Dont think id build another though, bit of a faf getting the gears box to diff ratios spot on. I put an e36 328 zf 5sp in this and i bet flat out redline in 5th was only 100mph 🤣🤣 shocking. Meant 2nd was too short for most tracks yet the jump to 3rd too long. Good giggle though.

man can you help me I have BMW 1 series and testet 3 rear whiper motors but no luck I get no water and the rear whiper not work and get no sound from the pull level at the wheel and the fuse its okey and power for the rear checked by 12 feet and everything works in my car of power so what could it be to buy new wiper motor?

Data4664 if you aren't getting a noise from the motor when pulling the lever it sounds like you will need a new motor. ...sorry for the gloomy news. Probably a £150 to £200 fix at a BMW dealer.

@@REVSUK thnxs so much for that reply I really need that but I have taken out the relay now are you its not that? I seems fine but.... I have bought a new motor on sale;) but I have tested 3 motors (not new) and non of them coming sound from the wheel pull level. But is it possibly the relay? Or should that holds for years and rare blow or will be damaged? I really hope the motor wil be the solution beacuse I beeing sick of this now I cant find it too works I tried everthing now....

@@Data4664 could be the fuse? Have you replaced it? Unfortunately it could be a trial and error scenario until you have success

@@REVSUK The fuse is OK I've checked it but not replace it BUT It looks good you mean it can be it even its looks ok? But no problem I can replace it I have extra fuses;) Not the relay? Tell me plzzz.. Small update I not yet get the new motor but and replaced a new yellow fuse but I didt heard sound from the motor back at all NAd I heard now its a wiring issuse but I cant see anthing wrong but them tested the motor on battery (theold one) and its ok but maybe also the pull level I heard you know but it difficult to see the issuse but update next week bro stay tuned;)

YES finally the solution from a youtuber was the trunk does not have to be open before you cut that power now everything works again it was a simple solution;)

Thank you for the video ! I also managed to unclog it. Mine has 2 jets and now that Its unclogged it has high pressure , almost washing the whole car . Does it need to be moved or recalibrated somehow ?

It sounds like you just need to get a pin and put it where the water comes out and redirect it towards the rear window. A bit of trial and error involved to get it right

That’s a lot of HP for a 1600 bda!! And it only does 110mph because of the gearing.

I don't get any washer fluid back on rear window so this will be the solution right?

@@Data4664 does the unit come out? Can you hear the motor working trying to pump water through?

@@Data4664 difficult without seeing the unit. The only things I can suggest is get a pin and put it in the hole where the water should come out. Hopefully that dislodge any gunk blocking water. Failing that get a jet wash and point it directly at the hole. You will get soaked but hopefully that will dislodge gunk. Good luck, hope it works.

@@REVSUK BIg update: I got it today from ebay an orginal than but you know what it fit, not so inside the hole I took a tank and made bigger holes and it also looked like it was from the old nozzle leftover in there so I've fixed it now it all works again. Update my solution was not 100 but it work I dont get water all over window (my fix) but better than nothing for me.

The short of it is ... a video won’t show reality. Did you come away disappointed ?. And if a little was it good enough to outway the disappointment?. 0-10 on the experience bud ?

It was a good experience to get behind the wheel of a supercar. The points you raise are valid. You can't thrash the car, you don't really get up to a massive speed. If you are behind slow cars that can be a pain. So it is purely an experience of driving a Lamborghini or Ferrari. If you want a better thrill, buy a cheap reasonably fast car and take it to a track day. The best experience day I've been to was a Caterham day at Silverstone. They do let you thrash the car more.

Looks really disappointing !. Was thinking of booking this but I’m positive I’d get round faster in my Astra estate and have more fun in the process . Up a gear , up a gear , ffs he’s not even moving yet . On the breaks on the breaks turn in , your straight a gain up a gear then floor it , up a gear up a gear ffs , at least let him give it a little I’m second whilst straight .

Great experience doing this, but I wish they would open the main stretch of the old runway and allow you to really cane it. Changing up at low revs is just like driving any everyday car. Would do again though.
