Makham, looks good , I love Koh Chaing , But I have only been there once in the Covid lockdown period, It was devistating for the local tousism, so many empty shops and restraunts, I want to go back one day.

@@WallaceLivingFree Hi Wally, back in NZ and getting prepared for a relocation to Thai early next year. Also have to fully recover from the back op I had at new year in Thailand so have been held up a bit with our plans. However, that is life and we just changed our plans to accomodate everything. We will have a beer next year and that is not too far away. Cheers Doug

Sorry for the late reply, lm glad your back operation went well, l am in awe of the Thai medical system. The Aussie system has one good thing, universal health cover, l visit the Dr and pay nothing. Thai lnsurance is problematic, I had to do a full medical on application, and it came back "l was grossly obese and they could only cover me for things like accidents, WTF!" My Aussie dr says everything is perfect and he has never mentioned my weight ,115 kg 6ft l don't feel obese,555, anyway we will catch up one day, lm in Aussie for about one year, cheers mate.
