Hello Wilson. Nice to meet you.💗 I'm growing a Dendrobium. It's a NOID. A seller sent her as a freebie. Just a nub of a cane...I wasn't sure she would live. She is working on her first bloom 3 years later.

Hi Amy, I noticed today that a section of my Easter cactus dropped off. Looking closely at it I noticed the bottom “leaves” have brown patches on them. I know mature cacti start looking woody but this looks different than that. Any thoughts on what could be happening? Chrissy 🤠
@OrchidWhisperer6 күн бұрын
@@Mimi-63 hi Chrissy! I just googled "brown patches on Easter cactus" and it gave me a lot of info about how it can happen. Everything from pests to over or underwater. Check for pests first, and then go thru the list on Google. I didn't know it was so common in an Easter cactus. Have a great day! 😇🐶🌸❤️

Hi Amy, your blooms are gorgeous!! Congratulations. I keep 3 ring binders (floral motif) and use clear selves to keep a photo of each plant. I use large, lined index cards to slip on the backside of the photo and there i keep my record of the plants journey (when/where I purchased; was in in spike, bud, blooming, when I repot and what substrate I use. I love keeping my plant info this way and I can always add additional cards as the plants grow. I was using a spreadsheet but that make it feel like I was doing work. Please let us know what you decide to do. Love Peace and Blessings to you and your family and sweet Jasmine!
