Old construction sites for housing they would bury the stumps from the trees then 50 plus years later they rot away and leave cavities or holes then if you have something heavy like a pool they give way and this happens!!!

Obo😂😂😂… I just bough my kid a 14” abive ground pool, and have the same sand filter, for some reason it has what it looks like cotton inside, not sand. I also noticed on your set up you have what it looks like a Hayward “mini” filter, or what is it? Also, can a water pump be regulated if its too strong for a pool? Thanks.

Pool filter balls are a newer invention instead of sand they look like cotton balls I really haven't dealt with them to know if they are good or not, the hayward is a automatic pool chlorinater! Only pumps that have speed control can be regulated, 1hp is good up to 24 ft and I use one on my 27 round with no issues, you could probably use a 3/4 or 1 with a 14ft round, thanks for watching!

Where was the other end of your resistor wire connected? So the updated wires are Yellow/Purple from the Starter to coil +, wire from the alternator to coil +, and then one more wire from the 10-pin connector to the coil +?

So these are all the + on coil, purple wire Carb choke and yellow/purple wire starter to +, red wire from ignition to +, red wire from + to electronic ignition, now for -, gray wire that's in the harness with yellow purple and all purple to - on coil, then all black ground to electronic ignition! So a total of 4 wires on + coil side and 2 wires - side, I hope this helps thanks for watching!👍

Question. My boat was running fine/great. Tested it at home prior to going out and it ran fine. Put it in the water and it just turns over… is the coal supposed to have oil in it?

That was far too close glad you guys caught that sinkhole any of that water weight gets in there little pierced a major hole into the liner and that'll be a waste of money.

It was just too scary and unsafe!!! Just think we were walking on that and tamping down the first hole! I just did not feel comfortable with that whole situation so i didn't want to try to just fill the hole especially knowing kids would be using it!! Thanks for watching!👍

I have an 1987 four winns 210 horizon in a similar blue with 205Horse 4.3 mercruiser and an alpha1 i bought it just recently im watching videos to learn as much as i can. Its in better shape almost everything seems the same. My gauges are the same. I see your in new your as well I'm up in old forge!

I don't see the point in sand changes. If a sand filter needs a sand change, it is cheaper to replace it with a cartridge filter. No matter how good any sand filter is, a cartridge will filter more and finer. The multiport valve will need work sooner or later, so it makes sense to replace with something better and cheaper in the long run. Replacing a cartridge takes minutes.

Well I can tell you from someone who has done pools and every kind of filter for 20 plus years you are wrong on many levels! Sand filters are the easiest and cheapest to maintain over DE and cartridge! And DE actually gives you the clearest pool water!!!! but also has alot of upkeep and it's own issues and expenses! Cartridge filters are 60 plus dollars and only last a couple years, sand is only 12 dollars a bag and only require 1 to 3 depending on size that's less than 30 dollars and that is over a 5 to 7 year period!!! So no Cartridge filters are not cheaper and need to be cleaned out all the time and clog quicker because you are right the do filter finer particulate but costs more and more maintenance! Multipurport valves and the spyder gaskets rarely need replacing! I have done 1000's of pools over the years and the ones I work on and replace the most and normally replace with a sand filter are DE and Cartridge filters!

Great video , i have a similar problem on my mazda cx-9, the shop said i need a new gasket for sure posible the whole tank depends on rust . The only think i fill strange it is i starting to have the gas leak when my gas thank is half full... What do you think is it possibly there is more to it ???

Are you able to see anywhere on the tank where the gas is coming from ? If it's only on the bottom you won't see gas anywhere except that area if it's coming from the top it will have streaks running down the side and bottom pooling then it probably is the gasket? Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the vid. Helped me a lot! After replacing my cable and getting everything back together, I don't have to squeeze the handle to get the lever to go into forward or reverse. The part where you put the lever back in the boat is missing. Do you know if there is a certain way the cables have to be set or if- the orientation of the o-ring with the notches is situated a certain way? It was locked in neutral prior to replacing the shift cable. Anything I'm missing? TY

On the backside of the metal washer looking thing which controls the forward/reverse there are metal tabs that need to be aligned at roughly the 9 and 3 o'clock position if that's not on correctly it won't work properly you can see it in the video and I try to explain it! Whats your opinion on using a little dielectric grease in the cap socket to prevent any moisture from condensing or getting in there and causing issues? I've heard it both ways....

I picked up an 88 Moto 4 350 to weeks ago for $500. Runs pretty good and overall is in good shape and complete. Previous owner said when he bought it about two years ago they key was missing so he ordered on of those cheap Amazon Chinese ignitions. I guess when he tried to install it he wasn't getting spark and couldn't figure it out. He ended up just wiring in an on/off toggle switch. I did some searching online and found a bunch of people having the same issues with the cheap ignitions and some people mentioned having to wire them differently. The one I ordered from Amazon will be here tomorrow I hope I can figure it out.

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem opgelost met een simpele metalen draad .Eerst met een magneetje via de opening langs de linker zijkant het moertje eruit gehaald , wat vrij simpel ging ,daarna aan een metalen draad een oogje geplooid waar het moertje stevig in spande en dan het moertje via dezelfde kant terug op zijn plaats gehouden boven het gaatje door erlangs onder door te kijken en de bout er terug ingedraaid. Dit alles met behulp van een klein uitschuifbaar spiegeltje en klein lampje (12v/5w) gesoldeerd aan een lange draad en mee langs de zijkant ingeschoven om licht te hebben .Het heeft me allemaal een uurtje extra werk gekost. Mijn dank aan Whitehouse Farm voor de tip om me te vertellen dat er een moertje opzat bovenaan.

My family recently bought an above ground pool and are using parts from another above ground pool that was passed down to us. We now have a sand filter and it has a skimmer basket at the bottom of the filter just like yours in the video. Would we be able to put the hose from Wanda inside of there since we don’t have the skimmer that’s attached directly to the side of the pool like yours?

@jaydusmejia1476 I would buy an adapter from lowes or home depot that you could push into the hole in the pool that goes to the skimmer and pump! Or make a reducer that fits the hose and the hole because the Suction would keep it together!!!

Lol lots of practice lol best way is to blow your air out underwater so you sink and don't float, you could also use some weights or have someone put a foot on you to keep you down if your not good at holding your breath, get creative lol thanks for watching and have a great summer!😉😊
