I've seen that 3000 watts is the absolute minimum to run A/C . Wranglerstar has an old video on his channel where he made an auxiliary gas tank for a honda 2000 watt generator. You could do the same thing with a small boat outboard motor gas tank. They are maybe 5 gallons?

Also try to visit during the summer months. My girl and I like to begin a summer day trip with a unique breakfast at one of the many cool breakfast or lunch cafe's. Then tube the Delaware and experience the River Dog hot dog stand that floats in the middle of the river serving you without you ever having to get out of you large comfortable rented tube. Finally, a quick shower, lunch at one of the riverside restaurants, then spend the remainder of the day shopping, antiquing, and snacking, or watching a Delaware River sunset.

I have this exact camper and have had nothing but problems with that top cable. Mine broke even worse than yours. Lucky for me it was still under warranty that time. They had to pull the wall apart to get the cable out. They re timed it and it continues to need re tighting and timing. I will run for anything with a bal accu slide in the future. This is my 4th camper and is by far the most problematic. We've replaced the microwave, fridge and front jacks the front window was also mis installed. All in all not great

Nice video, well done and accurate. Other than the wind cave mix up. 😊 wind cave is a hike in Usery Park which is across the street from the big Phoenix arrow on the mountain. I live about 10 minutes from there. There is a lot of dispersed camping out east off us60 and 79 past Gold Canyon. Just be aware if you are in State Trust land or BLM.

The campgrounds directly above Jerome can get you out of the dry heat and into the tall pine trees. Cool info, and channel

You can buy an external extended run fuel tank and a fuel cap with a hose so that you can run the generator longer without refueling. Another thing you can do is purchase a soft start capacitor for the air conditioners so that they don’t overload the generator. If you find you need more power, you can buy an additional *inverter* generator and a combiner box so that you can have additional power if needed.
@ProjectRVLivingLostАй бұрын
Okay that’s great info. Thank you so much 🙏

You probably should look into solar power there is solar power batteries that could run that rv and have that generator for back up power
@JohnSmith-fx4seАй бұрын
They really don’t boondock enough for the solar to be worth it. Their air conditioners are really inefficient and would be super tough to run off of solar.

@@JohnSmith-fx4se nah there's systems that could run that air con and that whole camper do your research

I feel so sorry for these people. When I was a child, the building was original! (mostly) Worn down bricks, old rotted wood, impurities in the glass windows…it was like a time travel into the past. Fort Macon was exactly the same 50 years ago. I think they deemed it a hazard for tourists so it was renovated. Looks all shiny and new. 🤢
