My lupine leaves look weird…brown with yellow tips. I over wintered them from seeds. I water regularly and put in my western facing garden. They are in a nice size terracotta pot.

Do you grow one seed per pot or can you grow a whole packet in one pot?

I've just watched the first video and notice that the terracota pot isn't containing what you planted at the end of that video. Did you remove all the leaves and just leave behind the stem and roots?

Many thanks for this video. I have had a problem keeping Heuchera in my shade garden. You identified the reason - too much water. The soil has a high volume of clay. The shade garden can get flooded from rain. They have been drowning. I planted three small Heuchera today in the garden. Tomorrow I will move them to a container with better drainage. Many thanks Till.

Would using rooting hormone powder make much of a difference with faster and more root growth? I see a lot of YT people just cut and plant the babies.

Hello from Ontario Canada. We get really hot summers here and humidity from June-Aug. . Do you think I should leave it in full sun all day considering, or should I let it have some shade when the temperature is really hot? 30-32 celsius . I'm just afraid it will burn with that afternoon sun. I recently transferred it to a larger pot so I can easily set it somewhere where it will get shade. Thanks so much Till. 🌺🌼

Hi. I've got a Lewisia that has nearly finished flowering and it's definitely had bees around, which I've been told helps. Do the need yo be a few years old to get seeds. Thank you.

I have a beautiful metal trellis up against my House with The President Clematis that I planted in 2016, it has performed very well every year. Last spring I added the Guernsey Cream to the other side and I am absolutely amazed at how beautiful it is, it has grown to 2 1/2 ft and has been in bloom for almost 2 weeks now.. WOW ,,,what a stunning vine..🙌

I was told, no experience with them yet, that they are good rock garden plants - the crown does not like to be wet. They need good drainage - they need rocks around base to hold crown high above the moisture. I am going to pot them in a concrete container with the rocks for the patio.
@GardeningwithTill
@GardeningwithTill 3 ай бұрын
True, they need good drainage! A mix of rock and soil would be ideal.

If my 2 lupins in single large wide pot get big and strong, when is the best time to transfer into a garden bed?
@GardeningwithTill
@GardeningwithTill 3 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t transfer them while they’re blooming or when it’s still hot outside. So spring or autumn would be ideal

So relieved when I seen the second black pot. I put 2 lupins in a 5-6 in deep half barrel. I was so worried it'd be too small as I keep reading at the minimum 10" pot so I have a little less worry now!
@GardeningwithTill
@GardeningwithTill 3 ай бұрын
Good luck, the more mature the plant gets, the bigger the pot should be. So you have to eventually adjust the pot size :)

I‘m based in Germany. It’s probably cooler and less humid here than in Arkansas. Heucheras probably would need more protection in your area.
