The Chiefs will try to make history with a SB three-peat, but they will play one of the tougher schedules in NFL history. Each opponent will treat their game with the Chiefs like it's the play-offs...this alone will keep the Chiefs humbled and increasingly exhausted as the season progresses. IMO there's a reason it's never been done before.
@rashidcoletraincoleman3013Күн бұрын
That has been the case for them for 6 years tho. They have gotten the schedule of the 1 or 2 seed for 6 straight years. Everyone knows that you HAVE to bring your best or get embarrassed cause KC has been good enough to play a "C" level game and still win. They are more than used to people treating their game like the biggest game of the season. Still wont be easy. But not because they aren't used to being challenged.
@terrybailey4600Күн бұрын
@@rashidcoletraincoleman3013 True. Last season the Chief's head to head opponents had more days of rest and preparation due to scheduling. This year KC plays every day of the week, except Tuesday. Everyone from Amazon to Netflix expects them on prime time. Plus like you said, a 1 or 2 seed schedule of opponents. So the road to consecutive SB's becomes ever steeper.

Love needs to improve on QB sneaks, looking to run if available, stop chucking 50/50 balls in end of game desperation last minute passes like the Steelers, SF, Raiders games as they end up as ints if he passes to Christian Watson it never works. He needs to improve the timing of deep passes as he routinely underthrows them. He needs to work on short crossers from right to left.

I for one, am very happy to see Jordan Love getting his pay. He really deserves this. I saw how hard he worked during the second half of last season. His defensive reads have improved drastically, his fakes on RPO's also greatly improved, his use of the hard count also improved. With him re-signed, now he and his Packers can go and do some damage in the 2024 season. Look out NFL, the Green Bay Packers are coming for you. Let's go get 'em guys!

I'm a big Justin Herbert fan, but I think the Tier 2 ranking is fair for now, because fairly or unfairly, you don't get top tier rankings unless you win some big games. Never mind that Herbert has had a low level team team behind him and abysmal coaching (that should change with Harbaugh). Win some big ones and you're Top Tier. Where I take issue is Matt's Tier 3 rankings for the Rams receivers. Matt saying that Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua were ok, but nothing special was straight up insulting. "Former" scout or not, he lost credibility with that one.
@whatareuthinking17 күн бұрын
I think a lot of dolphin higher-ups think with these receivers in this offense there’s a hell of a lot of quarterbacks who could do the same or better. The run it up against bad teams and pull a no-show on the good teams is another factor that goes beyond Tua but he doesn’t seem to raise the level of play against the good teams, but we put 50 on the bad ones
@bourbontrail5657 күн бұрын
Tua’s gotten greedy listening to TV opinions and not how was raised. 1 year wonder that deserves 8th highest paid as the market dictates. Sitting on the sidelines getting paid 1.375 million a game this year is a Real morale booster for his teammates….

As awesome as Adams is… I don’t think he changes much of anything. He’s better than Aiyuk but not WAY better, and they do the same thing. Aiyuk had more separation yards per route than anyone last season. He was wide open CONSTANTLY. It was insane. Adams is just doing the same thing 😂

Herbert in tier 2 made me sick in my stomach. Matt. My gosh. SICK! I’ll take Herbert over everyone not named Mahomes or Allen. The idea that Burrow wins games with the Chargers of 2020-2023 is crazy to me. And I think Herbert definitely wins games with Cincy. Stafford is my NFC #1 as well, but over Herbert is quite a stretch for me.

It is absolutely insane to me how overrated Jordan Love is💀 The packers had an insanely easy schedule last year, they leaned on the run heavy, they won multiple games they could’ve easily lost & barely made the playoffs but because they beat the Cowboys (Who are literally known for choking in the playoffs) ppl give Jordan Love this extra credit when in reality Aaron Jones & the Defense won the majority of those games, CJ Stroud is 10x better than Love

I like Tyler, but he's so wrong on Sweat. OTAs are not practices, shouldn't evaluate players on drills, especially DLs without pads on. That aside, we could do worse pairing Simmons with an Outland Trophy Winner. Opposing OLs get soaked up, the LBs and DBs blitz packages become more diverse, this TEN Defense will be a big problem this year.
@peacockandwilliamson22 күн бұрын
It’s less about OTA practices and more about process of drafting a 370+ pound player with off field questions that high. There are not a lot of successful comps in recent history.
@joserojo866329 күн бұрын
The run game was inconsistent because the opposing defense basically stacked the box, Trev was blitzed a lot and defenses didn’t have to play keep everything in front of you coverage and they attacked the ball on the ground and in the air. They were able to do all of that because they didn’t fear us beating them deep. And when someone got open deep they dropped so many wide open td passes.
@joserojo866329 күн бұрын
Trevor had to go deep a lot of those 3rd and short situations because the opposing defense was able to play aggressive and underneath because they didn’t fear us beating them deep so they smothered the short and intermediate stuff.

Big fan of the show love listening every day, I couldn’t help but notice you guys aren’t big believers in the saints. I get it, there hasn’t been much to respect offensively since SP left, but I wanted to point out kamara specifically. Matt said in the RB show that kamara looked like he hit a wall, and I wanted to know if that’s what he sees every time kamara physically touches the ball, or just a national view on his recent performance? No one has suffered more (besides saints fans) than kamara since Carmichael took over. Now with the shanahan/kubiak wide zone offense I think he’s primed to get used much more to his strengths like back when Payton was here. Hes never been a between the tackles runner, he’s always been better in space. That’s not necessarily his play regressing, just a failed system. How hard is it realistically to picture a bounce back season?
