Awesome gti has come such a long way since i last worked there back between 2012-2019 its a great place when i was there then and its still a great place now :) Tabbys knowledge when it comes to software and hardware is second to none :D .... fair play lads 👏👏👏👏

There’s a video on You Tube where the original owner of 40 RA is interviewed and asked about the night the car was stolen from his driveway by the thieves, and he confirmed the story about the car and when it was found. The car was dumped into a canal after the thieves were finished doing there stealing and robbing…(they even robbed a jewellers shop next door to a local police station in the car, just to prove they couldn’t be caught by police) the original owner confirmed the roof of the car 40 RA was badly damaged by what he said was a boat travelling over the car while it was in the canal.. the car then went to a scrapyard as it wasn’t repairable. Then the owner a few years afterwards bought another Lotus Carlton the exact same car as the one that was stolen by the thieves, but it needed work done to the engine/geafbox, etc to make it as good as his original Carlton. He also said he had to fight with his insurance company because they wouldn’t pay out the full value of the original car because they couldn’t value it properly

You drive too far from the wheel

The lack of technical understanding is frightening. The difference between a variable displacement pump and a constant displacement pump is fundamental to the operation and economy of the engine. The problem arises when fitters do not understand that the variable displacement pump will not self prime and therefore the oil change process ( drain, filter change , start refill) must be completed before the oil pump is totally drained, Just requires a bit of thought and preplanning. The advantage of the variable displacement oil pump is reflected in the fuel economy. Sorry guys but these giggling chimps just do not understand what they are doing.

My mk8 Clubsport back end drifts out like mad drives me crazy thinking its a tracking issue tbh - any ideas?
