I was turned on to Lumpy Gravy in the 70's by an older wiser friend forever altering my musical trajectory. I frequently got grief from the less enlightened for espousing my love for Frank's music and appreciation of his brilliance. Nowadays when I get to see so many often young groups and individuals faithfully rendering his compositions it literally brings me to tears. The guitar solo on Outside Now just tore me up in the most exquisite way. After reconnoitering the set list I'm grabbing a box of Kleenex . To all involved this is a superlative performance - Nice Eyebrows! May the Flying Spaghetti Monster touch you all with his noodley goodness... FZ4EVER

WOAH- Super tight. Such amazing skillz! The last number with the director conducting is precious. THANKS! Zappa is the medicine! WOW.

You guys make me smile! I bet even Frank would offer one of his cynical smirks over this one. Great job!

If it shows anything, the fact it takes several guitarists to take Steve Howe's place. But these guys are awesome!! Never stop.

The passion and skill that this performance exudes is astounding, considering Zappa is so obscure... apparently NOT in Germany! I am so grateful for this astounding performance!! WOWZERS!!

Stoked you guys covered this. The band, and definitely that song, is not something that gets covered. It’s exceedingly rare and extremely difficult. You pulled it off. Sounded great!

Guitarist nailed it, which is the most important component to the Dead Kennedys sound. Drummer’s good too. The horn interlude is off and I think it’s because of the saxophone. I don’t know for sure but it sounds to me like they used dual clarinets. It sounds a little weird though. They might’ve sped it up in the studio. It was higher pitch.

Watching this again I think it’s just the bigger guy on horn is playing too low. If he matched the other guy, it would be perfect. Regardless, really impressed with this. Overall, there’s a lot of moving parts to this, and it sounded really good.

I saw Paul's kids open for Project Object at the Troc a long time ago. The band was literally kids....and they blew P/O off the stage that night. So glad to see the tradition continuing.

To the young lady with the denim skirt, knee high boots and white top not sure exactly how it would work but I want to have your babies... Awesome performance by all!

(...this song (Jimi) brings me many memories. I think it was the first song, of the first record, that i heard of B.S. It was like...i allways heard very weird music in all my life...since very young youth, heard things like...Stockhausen, Zappa, the strangest Floyd records, some metal, many experimental stuff, whatever the genre, Neubauten, early great American 80s underground music, etc, etc, etc...BUTT...when i heard this, for the first time, it was like..."what the f*ck am i hearing?, BUTT what the f*ck is this????"...it was some of the american underground that got me to this, things that i think are still the greatest music ever made: Sonic Youth, Swans, Black Flag, and many others. BUTT THIS, it was a thing like..."BUTT what the f*ck am i hearing right now? Who the f*ck are these people, this guys? They must be completly "f*cked up, to make a thing like this..." And the album version is..."insane", at least for me. And...the genious turning...to the second half of the music, it was like..."how can this be possible? Who the F*ck are this people, to have such a f*cking music idea like this? The only explanation possible might be...the people who made this song, they can only be...COMPLETLY F*CKED UP OF THEIR HEADS!!! (🤣🤣🤣)...and, with the passing of time, and the more music i knew of them, and the more i knew about this band, it was like...i really think, THIS PEOPLE, THIS BAND (B.S.), might be, at least in my opinion, one of the most NECESSARY PHENOMENA, in all music rock history. Im glad, very glad, this band happened, and i have no words, for what im seeing right now. I just like to say: im glad this band happened, and even glad that, as it seems, many younger people had the opportunity to experience a moment like this. I can onlt say: great work, great effort!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍)

(...i had just now this idea (and im saying this, VERY SERIOUS, IM NOT JOKING)...did anyone thought about make a version of "clean it up"??!! That, i think, it would be, REALLY, the greatest thing ever!!! Think about that!!)
