This was always my favorite generation of the Prelude and if I had a place to store a rebuild, I would definitely do one myself. Had a friend who had a beautiful white one with low mileage but she crashed it and, like I said, no place to store it, otherwise I would have bought it off her to repair and keep as a dependable daily.

The paint will never match, even if you bring a sample with you to the paint store. Thats why painters "blend" the new paint into the old paint. Watch The Paint Society, Mario paint class, Garage Noise channel if you want to learn how to paint to get a better result.

Paint the jambs with the fender and door off the car, then mount them...then paint the entire side at once. That green metallic won't look quite right if you panel paint them at different times.

they have drill presses made specifically for spot welds, but probably not worth the money if your only doing one panel.
