my explanation for the clog thing, is that wearing clogs in fact you don't feel anything that touches them because they are made of solid wood. So when something is really very obvious you will for sure notice and even feel it through solid wood. Whenever someone is completely oblivious to something really very obvious and acts totally surprised, like 'but that's crazy', we will say 'not at all, you can feel that on your clogs'. As in 'you could have seen that one coming from miles away'.

I would like to move to USA. Work life, it depends ... You find most downsides in Denmark as well as you can find in USA. Even shootings now due to migration. Mobbing and horassment is a nationalsport in Denmark. Most of all the workplace funcktions as a place to isolate people, you do not like from shere look. If you go behind the nice presentations in medias, you will find all sorts of negative sides in Denmark. Take Dr, official TV. Debates are subtle ways of create free speach for the center to the left, and from center and to the right soectre you will find that the "debates" has the function to label all opinions as "far right" and as invalid. A politician from a right party, which will be no more or less than a democrat in US, will be abrupted and disbelieved and put into the same category as Hitler and nazism. DR works as propaganda like in the former Eastgermany. It is not unusuak that people being mobbed also gets fired in order to get rid of the problem. Corruption in politics is common. Denmark has no defenceforces, no military. Totally destroyed by political corruption. So no wonder we educate among others terrorists from the Middleeast. In Denmark everyone has it all, because it is more important to get the pewer than it is to do something usefull in long term perespective. This is why Denmark has no untuched nature left. We have the least nature in all of Europe, and we are also very polluted. We have places that got polluted 50 years ago, and we still struggle to find out, who is to blame and to clean up. Due to corruption a compagny, Nordic Waste ruined a site just this winter. Noone learned from Cheminova, University of Aarhus' chemical plant that dumped mercury on beaches 50 years ago. Everyone got it all. Kids get new Iphones every 2 years, and noone cares for the invironment this way. We sort trash in order to be recycled, but we consume far more than in the US. It lookes so nice, but why do we have a record high suicide rate and a record high use of electrochock, if we are in fact so happy and if our country is so fantastic. In particilar women get electrochock for depressions. Why, if they are so liberated an equal to men?

As far as I (Dutch) know children can only work from 16yo and up. 12yo perhaps may work as early morning paper deliverers etc. But I've never seen those youg kids working in supermarkets or so
@FK-df2ue3 ай бұрын
Mind you, even though small groceries tend to disappear in favour of "large" supermarkets (not half the size of Wall Marts) most of them can be reached without the need of a car

Yes the Neths import garbage from e.g. Italy. To burn in a better way than Italy goes. And then gaining "points" in the climate agreents. And sending chemical garbage to Africa in order not to lose points. Smart eh?

Finns invented the sauna. That's why it's a big part of our culture. Other big Finnish inventions are e.g. text messages, abloy locks, heart rate monitor, xylitol, etc. Nokia and the first mobiles are also Finnish. Also angry birds. However, if you want to get to know Finnish culture, the winter war plays a big role in that. How the Finns survived as a small nation in the fight against the Soviet Union and managed to preserve their independence. Since we are a small nation, every Finn took part in the fight. Women too, even if they weren't at the front themselves. And every Finn today is a descendant of these soldiers. So thats why it is big thing in our culture. Make a reaction video about the winter war and watch movie / netflix serie called "unknown soldier" if you want to get to know Finnish culture. We are a peace-loving nation, but a stubborn one. We won't give up, no matter what. That is called Finnish Sisu. 🇫🇮

Getting a permit to demolish a house in Denmark can be more cumbersome than getting permission to build something new. If the property is registered as "preservable", then you might as well forget it. People has been dragged to court over this, and sentenced to rebuild or restore an old crooked house.

El español se habla igual que se escribe. Por lo tanto Barcelona es Barcelona y Trafalgar es Trafalgar. El problema es que los estadounidenses suelen pronunciar "al inglés" las palabras de otros idiomas, de hay la confusión. Pero lo tienes fácil: tal se escribe tal se pronuncia Spanish is spoken as it is written. Therefore Barcelona is Barcelona and Trafalgar is Trafalgar. The problem is that Americans often pronounce "English" words from other languages, so there is confusion. But you have it easy: such is written such is pronounced

Even though I have been here just over 20 years, I still get a surprise when I see young children (5 years and upward) passing by our house on the canal, alone or with a friend in a boat. It is not unusual here for children to have such freedom to go to the park, or boat on the canals. They also have to pass swimming training and exams from an early age, with clothes and shoes as well as bathing costumes so they have a chance of surviving if they fall in water or there are floods. Also don't usually have an issue with teenage pregnancies as sex is treated as normal and teens are well aware of precautions if they are going to begin a sexual relationship with their partner.

As far as I’m aware Nata Žyžčenko (aka Onuka) wrote this song as a reflection on the arrival of her first child. I particularly enjoy how the minimalization of the lyrics actually deepens the song’s meaning: Xto ja? - De ja? (Who am I? - Where am I?) Vdoma - vtoma (At home - Fatigue) Doza - Slôza (A dose - a teardrop) Vtoma - vdoma (Fatigue - at home) Oj svite jasnyj, (Oh, the bright daylight,) Pojasny moi sny (elucidate my dreams.) W temnomu misci vony (In the dark place) Zakvitajut vnoči (they blossom at night.) Pojasny moi sny (elucidate my dreams) Pojasny moi sny (elucidate my dreams)

The meat in the picture with our national dish didn't look as normal it looked like bacon. The duck in the video isn't duck, but " flæskesteg " fried pork belly. Witch we eat all year round but also for christmas. Some gave both duck and fried pork belly roast for christmas. Some have gose. That traditionel soup is made on beef and never with an egg on top. The video you are watching is bad. Some of the pictures are not represented as it looks like danish food. As a dane I must protest.
