I guess the other way to leave a comment about your day in the life of UTI/MMI the school is a great school great people great opportunity for anybody and you young punks yes young punks with the foul mouth make a joke of it unbelievable why don’t you and your friend grow up and act like men instead a little boys, it’s a great school and I’m proud to be there. Why don’t you grow up?

Can you ride it slow in the technical trails without it stalling?
@danielmcnelis389 Жыл бұрын
I’ve had one for almost 9 months. Yes you can. It is really a balance of understanding the clutch and technique. You only stall when you’re not able to pull clutch lever in quick. That’s with most 4-strokes in trails though. Unless you get a rekluse which i think so that you you don’t have to interact with clutch lever nearly as much. But I have stock clutch and I love it. I only stall upon rider error. It’s all about learning the bike. And this is kinda technical stuff he’s just a quick rider. Flying between trees
@KurtDavis-ly6cu Жыл бұрын
@@danielmcnelis389 how much hours can you do before a top/ bottom end???
@danielmcnelis389 Жыл бұрын
@@KurtDavis-ly6cu I’m at 55ish hours on mine. I just had to get my front forkseals redone, they need to be redone roughly every 40 hours. However top end. 55 hours currently on my bike I just had my valve clearances checked, everything was still good! I do think it can vary from bike to bike. But so far I still do not need a rebuild. If you ride extremely aggressive obviously you wear down the parts quicker you would probably need a rebuild sooner but I race and stuff I ride fairly hard. I change my oil every 10ish hours, new filter every time. I change airfilter every other ride or as needed. Always check it after every ride. This kind of maintenance prolongs the life of the motor overall. Also use correct fuel. Always make sure air filter is oiled properly and you should get like MINIMUM 100 hours in my opinion. I’m no professional so just putting that out there. I just read the handbook and it helps a lot
@braketapfilms3524 Жыл бұрын
@@KurtDavis-ly6cu you should be able to get about 100 ours in the top end of you aren’t bouncing off the rev limiter 24/7 and check the valve clearance every 20 hours. Also you should be able to get over 200 hours on a bottom end once again if you aren’t hard on engines.

I took my brand new 87 KX500 there over there in March of 88. We camped at the campground just outside of Croom for a few weeks. my buddy was spending the winter there in his camper. What a great time we had riding there and it doesn't look like it's change at all since then except maybe this goofy metal grates (or whatever they are) on the hills. By the way, where is the moment where "he almost died on this hill"? 🙂 Good to see you guys are still having a blast riding.
