That is beautiful workmanship. I follow many channels on metal shaping and forming that are mainly based in the USA because there are very few (Trev's Blog) here in the UK. And it has taken a year or two for the KZfaq algorithm to bring to your channel. I am currently in the process of making my own English Wheel and gathering up tooling. It's a fascinating subject that has me hooked on watching how some very skilled men like Wray Schelin make some very complex panels. I would love a proper old English English Wheel but the prices are crazy so have settled on building my own. Top work young man, as a lifelong Jaguar fanatic, I really appreciate the skill and effort you have gone too in order to make those radiator shells.

I am currently struggling with this with a 42 chev chassis, no way on earth I can get a hot rivet in the hole and formed, have to do it on chassis, but then I worry about the heat affected zone - do you think that would cause any weakening of the chassis? I am actually putting the 8mm chassis stiffener on the chassis rather than any cross members

I'd love to try my hand at metal shaping. I'd love to visit the area and spend a day at a class, it would be a great weekend break. I don't even work with steel or repair cars. Pressed steel forms our world!

According to my boss he thinks anyone can do sheet metal, he's see's it as being unskilled..so.as of today he's now my ex boss..34 years experience can't be replaced just like that... which he found out last week...£9000 scrap in one day... Oh dear 😁😁😁

Great to see a craftsman at work! I am a 30 year aircraft restoration sheet metal man. I am grateful that people over the years have showed me the secrets. I have tried to pass my secrets to the next generation. It is sad to think yours will be lost.
