I completely agree with that! Yeah, and it seems they're setting Venestra up as Qimir's master since the scar on his back is shaped like the lashing of a whip... don't really love that because like everything else this show is doing it just confines all the ideas into tiny boxes making the galaxy feel so small and insignificant.

If Sol wasn’t a moron this show would have been over in Episode 2 but fuck it let the guy go who poisoned a master Jedi and stole someones shop, I gotta add they said it was the only store of this kind in the town which makes it even worse because people would have personal relationships with the owner lmfao. @@TunezCottage Good try, all very uncanny scenes, but it was the shadow on the stairs. His movements and silhouette are incredibly alien.

Dafney King should have been the main Jedi, her fighting looked amazing. I hated Yord but he got one of the best death scenes in Star Wars history. Episode was awful but this one actually had a little good in it unlike the other 4

My sentiment as well, although Dafne doesn’t feel like a lead to me. Though, neither does Amandla “woe-is-me” Stenberg.

If you look at the HUGE amount on YT etc you don't have to be a 200+ to know it's absolute garbage. Critical Drinker is reputable for instance and it's a pile of garbage.

I think the show is good, is the writing perfect? is the child acting perfect?, no. But they dont need to be for it to still be an enjoyable watch. You are welcome to not like something, but just because you dont like it doesnt make it absolute garbage. Try having an open mind and enjoy the ride, and you dont need to point to others to get your opinions on a piece of art.

What specifically/example do you think is not respecting the spirt of the base material (legends)?

I'll humor you on this, since it seems you're going to keep defending this piece of turd regardless, and say that it's completely and utterly Star Wars. As far as Star Wars is concerned, no problems. Let's say that. I don't believe it but let's say that's the case. EVEN if that was true, it's still a bad show in every which way. Characters - There are none. They're walking mouth pieces. How can you tell? Well, this upsetting event is set in motion in episode one that sends all of these people out on an "adventure" yet it is in no way inconvenient to Osha or anyone else. There are no stakes in the story because there are no characters. Dialogue - it's either telling you what you've already seen, or it's exposition. There is no cleverness, no wit, no discussions about anything that would even hint at worldbuilding outside the little square box it's sitting in. Setting - Every planet looks the same. They have trees and grass, or sand and some tattooine-esque buildings. It's plain, boring, and uncreative. Story - There isn't one. Mae hunts down jedis to avenge her cult being killed? No, not according to episode four. Osha wants to reunite with the sister that killed her family and tried to kill her for wanting a life? Sure, but does it make sense? No. Smilo Ren is... trying to destroy the jedi by having his acolyte do sidequests with handicaps attached to them... okay? What? Make any argument you like but the fact of the matter is that this show fails on EVERY level. Not just breaking canon. EDIT: Added comas.

Agreed. It seems Disney lost the plot along the way. That’s what the focus of my reviews here are about, to highlight the lack of quality present in this show and just how sad it is to see the writing in the drain like this.

It absolutely is lazy writing. Whether or not it's the most powerful weapon in the galaxy fact of the matter is that it can kill instantly with one button press and this bint handed it to a kid that's living in a cult that's never known anything else. It's stupid and lazy.

It is one of the most powerful hand held weapons... not the most... but its capable of deflecting most other hand held weapons... can burn through almost anything and is pretty much deadly with a single thrust... well it was until disney gave everyone lazy plot armour...

Completely agree. I don’t go into entertainment (if you can call it that) to be reminded of everyday life bs. If I wanted that from my fiction I wouldn’t be consuming it in the first place.
