The overall design is, to me, reminiscent of the old Buttner pipes.

Is it dual flame? Yellow gas? Is the flint black or gold?

I know Im late. I do this also with any new brand I try. One of the least expensive papers I've ever bought are actually top tier. Moons are great. They are all over ebay for dirt cheap by the box. Gotta get the blue/rice paper though. They have a TONS of different kinds. The blue rice leaves next to no ash & burns slow and white, not from calcium carbonate as no chalk is left. The red pack is wood , green is hemp ( my least favorite) , gold is some kind of blend. But Moon rice papers are great.

Mine is doing the extra tobacco at the end and I'm only at 8,049. It better not be "breaking". I carefully wipe it down and give it just a small squirt of wd-40 on the moving parts before and after each use. They'll be replacing it if it is.

Can u update your issue with powermatic 3 issues? I had same issue but I switched tobacco I use ' the good stuff' that's the brand! Now my machine runs with no problem!!

Do you know exactly what the stem material is? It sounds like it may be made with Vulcanite. If so that is a characteristic of Vulcanite. If it is made out of Acrylic it won’t dull in color or finish shine.

I have the exact same machine but for some reason the rolling things don't catch the leaf properly so it's very hard and frustrating to shred. Any tips?

I’m moving to Germany in a month! Where is the best place to buy cigarette tubes? I know you said Aldi, but I don’t have one near my area. Will Rewe have them, last time I was there I just bought packs didn’t roll them myself.

Did you solve it? I have the exact problem. Tobacco is not moist. Rubber that holds the tube is fine. I put my finger underneath the tube, to aid the pressure of the rubber. It still doesnt fill it completely. I'm out of answers :(

i use nelson and i find them very good for the price.

I invested in this machine and like it a lot. I would make a recommendation to add a small guiding LED light by the tube insertion point which is lower on the device. Most people will place this in or on a tray , mine is higher than most at 2-3" which creates some depth and shadow but still .. especially if I'm using it in dim lighting , the brightness of the LED screen on top blinds me to the tube insertion point. I'd recommend lowering the brightness of the top screen and adding a small light to illuminate where you put the tube especially because it has to be on there precisely to work. I know you're not the manufacturer but if you sell them maybe you can feed this back to them

I bought one a couple weeks ago and I love mine. It works best with short tobacco shreds and at a certain moisture level. But I buy cheap American club tobacco and I pick out stems and cut the shreds short and it works pretty good for me. It was well worth the $200 plus tax that I paid and rolls fast and I put the cigarettes in my plastic Tube Cut brand packs. I may switch my tobacco brand to full flavored Native all Natural. It's the same as the cartons of cigarettes I use to buy, and I was very happy with them.

Any setting I give it, it pulls out my cigarettes that are too full, they come out very strong, you smoke them very hard, you smoke them.... you need strong jaws.. :). Does anyone know of a fix, reset or something? Thanks!

on the other side of the spectrum, the paper that makes the most ash is definietly Primus. it's a hungarian brand of rolling papers, it looks like regular cigarette paper but when you light it, the whole thing becomes ash. it just turns black and dissolves on your fingers when you touch it. it costs around 70-90 forint right now (1 us dollar is around 400 forint as of december 2022). it's literally the last thing in hungary that costs double digits. it passes RAW's gumline curl test though

You can smoke the one of box wood without absolutely no problem. As fast as you want. Exactly like you smoke any other pipe. 👍

I was jamming up. After reading cooments hear I got aggresive and found inside the tube a chunk of dired tobacco. Almost like a piece of wood. Once that came out it now works once again. Try one of those stiff brushes and get in there and twist.

I’m sure if I should say this but I found Venting tubes the best ones for these machines in australia post and handling $400.00 dollars for it

I did have problems with this I Believed it is when you big chunks of the tobacco the machine has trouble through the tube correctly
