Just saw a link to this on DA, and this is really something! Awesome work! I have a soft spot for out-dated paleoart. I'm always hoping someone's going to make a documentary about prehistoric life, but in the style of Zdenek Burian, Rudolph Zallinger, Heinrich Harder, Franz Unger, Charles R. Knight, etc. So not trying to be super up to date and accurate, but using modern-day tech to produce animated versions of those paintings. This is the closest thing to that, and I love it. There's something magical and wondrous about that old style of paleoart. Almost dream-like. This mysticism was basically just the product of a lack of knowledge and insight, and we see it disappear as time goes by, and as we learned more about these prehistoric worlds. As if the veil's gradually being lifted, and so paleoart starts to lose that charm. Not to criticize modern paleoart, but I just appreciate this olden style for what it is, and how it impacted my young mind in the late 80s. I'll see if there's more on your YT page.

Thank you so much! The final short is almost finished, and it's pretty close to what you are saying. It's meant to be a time capsule of what the early paleontologists and paleoartists could have imagined at their time 👀 It should be out in September
