Thanks for the video, I'm shopping for a dash cam that has buffered modes for parking and also decent resolution for details, I wanted to get a 4k front 2k rear but so far none of those have buffered recording modes and I have a hard time believing they are truly 2k rears, I haven't seen them in person so going based on descriptions. Anyway, I appreciate having this content to at least consider some options and things to think about.

out of the 5 70mai is the worst for parking surveillance . it will only detect motion from the direction it is pointed , and since it has to see the head and torso before it will alert really the front windshield is the only viable position . also it takes 10 seconds of continuous detection before it will start recording and will only record for 30 seconds.

All these rear view cameras have one issue. They are wide angle giving a fish eye view to the rear. Yes you get blind spot coverage but as a rear view camera has shallow depth of field. You cannot see very far behind you. Objects are too small. Also if you mount on the exterior, one rain drop on the lense will make it useless until the rain drop clears off.

I bought and installed the Redtiger dashcam camera a couple of weeks ago. It's a great camera. I suggest that you add a polarizing filter for clear vision without glare in all conditions.

Wolfbox is highly overrated. Their most expensive one they advertise on their site is the G900 which goes for almost 300, which doesn't do anything particularly different than the 840S they have advertised for 150. No Mirrorlink, won't link to their poorly rated Android app, no Android Auto capabilities, no voice control, no Bluetooth. They're def not smart.

They all have awful clarity! My gosh when will they ever make a Dash cam with at least Go Pro clarity????? Whistles and bells with worthless camera clarity. What is a "camera" for? Did you notice the enlarged license plate to fool you about if you could read a plate number? Or that they fuzzed out the plates to "seemingly" protect peoples identity? You don't have to fuzz out plates "in a public place"! They did it to hide that you can't read plates except in absolutely "ideal positions" which likely won't occur in a hit a run! $uch TRA$H!

Horrible video. I like really high quality products and all these cameras are cheap low quality dash cams. I also like to stay up to date with the latest equipment. And non of these dash cams are even in my top 5. Maybe top 5 of the cheap stuff. Non of these cameras even have the Sony top camera 60fps. My cell phone has a better camera than these. In fact my cell phone from 5 years ago will provide better pictures and capabilities than these. Currently I have the "Blackvue DR970 x" that allows live view from my cell phone of my front and rear cameras in 4k and provides my vehicle with internet. I almost subscribed to your channel, but your tittle is very misleading. I don't need another source of lies. Now if your tittle was more in the lines of cheap random dash cams on Amazon, then this video rings true and my support. I will now ban this channel from my KZfaq feed. The weakness is Parking Guard power. Even with a dedicated battery, you only get 20 hours. If you don’t drive your car everyday, everything shuts down. Those who live in high crime cities, park on the street, and only drive occasionally, don’t really have a solution. Solar might work, but they (you know who) would steal the solar panel.
