What tools do you need? A screw driver and a ratchet. What is the ratchet for unless you have bolts to remove in which case will require a socket at a particular size and possibly an extension also a screwdriver, regular or Phillips head?

Guys, you need to chill out and realize that SBT DOES NOT work on privately owned skis. They only manufacture, sell parts and completely built engines. The hammering on top of the hull was done to help in the video. It's not practical to take the carb to a workbench in order to demonstrate the installation. I'm a local customer and they truly go above and beyond in order to help their customers!

Great video! Maybe you can help me with a problem I'm having on a 2013 seadoo gti130se. It has over a 1000 hours and got an overheat alarm. Turns out it had oil in the coolant but no coolant in the oil. I pressure checked the oil cooler and it didn't leak, so I decided to have the head milled and replace the head gasket. After all that work, I took it out for a test run. It was surging and wouldn't stay above 5000 rpm. Gradually though it started running normally. I was periodically checking under the seat for any leaks and all seemed good until after about 30 min I got an overheat alarm. Once again, the coolant tank overflow hose was spewing oily water, but no signs of water in the coolant. Any ideas what the problem could be??

Other pro to add to the two strokes are they are cheaper.

Got to start the ski, recheck level and top off. Otherwise will end up low when filter fills.

How many 12mm bolts to remove the exhaust manifold? I removed 11 bolts, but I still couldn't set it free.

Always start, run, shut off and recheck your oil level after an oil dump and refill. The new oil filter and chamber will take up some oil so a little more oil will need to be added. Filling your oil to the full mark let's you know for future oil checks if you've either lost or burnt up some oil possibly leading up to some extra service.

Right off the start I can see that they don't know what they're doing. Running the engine for 30 seconds doesn't warm the oil up, and filling the oil passages means you'll get less oil out of the engine.

Have you guys had to deal with the one way sprag before? My starter spins but it's spinning nothing. The gear that the starter spins to the flywheel is free spinning both directions. This seems wrong

This was boring. I did my own rebuild that was more interesting than this one lol. You guys used all the professionals who did most of the work. And to be honest, I didn't see anything that took my breathe away. SbT needs to get more creative

Also, thoes are not Phillips screws, they are JIS. They look very similar, and a Phillips head screwdriver will work, however, you run the risk of stripping the screws. Get the proper screwdriver, you will be glad you did.
