I just clicked to see the open. What a fantastic opening! So then I had to stick around for "If I Loved You". That did it. When Billy began it, I melted! So now I'm committed. This is not one of my fave R&H shows, but this production is blowing me away. Thank you!

That was fantastic. A great representation of one of Doctor Who's greatest villains. And I do love how you did the faces of the past regenerations. All of them were very fitting.

Absolutely one of the most amazing things we've ever seen achieved by a school production. Great leads, piquant supporting players, spectacular orchestral, choral, and executional work. If the only things we can cavil about are the elision of Mrs. Mullins-fixes-Billy's-hair-and-Julie-refixes it, EnochJr-deigns-to-marry-Louise-beneath-his-station moments, WELL.... Indelible. The two leads did Rodgers and Hammerstein proud, singing with precision and emotional honesty. They deliver their dialog professionally as well. Billy Bigelow in particular was brilliant. If he isn't making his living in the theater by now, I would be shocked.

Because he chose to leave. He probably wanted to leave after RTD left in 2009, but was asked to stay behind by Moffat. Apparently he’d been wanting to leave for quite a while before his final 2017 special. He’s a person, too. Some people just get a bit tired.
