I would love to use wisephone because I waste much time on my iPhone however my friend group coordinates hangouts on iMessage group chats. But wisephone does not have access to iMessage. Thoughts?

Hello M S! We're sorry for the delay in responding to this great question! You are correct, the Wisephone does not have access to iMessage, but if you’re coming from an iPhone, you should be able to sign out of iMessage (on all your Apple devices, if you have a laptop or an iPad, for example). Once you have done that, even if the sender is using iMessage for the group text, you should still receive it as a regular SMS message :)

I wish there was a way to mass delete contacts from the portal. For some reason when I imported from Google, it grabbed any email contact from the beginning of my G account. Since the Wisephone doesn't support email, I wish it could filter out those contacts and only bring over contacts with phone numbers only. Activated my phone last night, no real learning curve but there is definitely lag on the device compared to my Pixel 3. Overall this will be worth it in the long run for getting away from big tech and having less digital distractions.

there is a mass delete button when you click settings on the right side once they have been imported.

This was helpful - I recently made the switch to wisephone and am thrilled about it! I am currently in 'detox' mode from my iphone. It's definitely an addiction.

My husband and I are both "elder millennials" and we also happen to be huge fans of digital minimalism. Being the last generation to have known what it was like before the internet, I often find myself longing for that 'off switch'. I think this could be it. Thank you for making this phone available. I can see it being a huge blessing in both our lives and our kids' lives.

Guys when will you ship to the uk and if I order it send it to someone in America and they ship it here will the phone work as in would I will be able to put in a SIM card here and get a monthly plan😒🤷🏽♀️

You can still message your android friends... this applies to iPhones only. Even if you turn this off and still use an iphone, you will still be able to send SMS messages.
