Am new to icu, in cardiothoracic. I get 4 supernumerary shifts, and next week, i go independent. Am very nervous as i didn't do any placement in ICU, so I am unfamiliar with this speciality all together 😢 I've been feeling very bad, but keep hoping I'll be fine. And let the lord work through me😭

I tested Friday evening still waiting for my results😰 exam shut off 86 or 88. One thing I’m thankful for is I took my break compared to the other time I failed I never took a break I sat for the full 145 and my brain was shutting down. If I had taken a break I’m sure I would have passed. This time I made sure to take a break. Let’s see🥺🤞🏼

Do you remember how your last question was structured? I went up to 145 questions as well and I remember our Kaplan rep telling us that if you go up to 145 questions, the last question given has to be an analytical question or one of the harder questions that puts you above the line. Whether you get it right or wrong, it is a good indication that passed. The last question I got was a priority question and the questions before that were SATA and a non difficult question. I am not sure if that has anything to with it. I tried the PVT but my results are on hold. REALLY frustrating!! Update: I passed!!

Yassss I just got my results 11/3/22 I had 145 questions & passed! I used Mark Klimek, Union testing prep questions & my Saunders book. God can and will see you through the Nclex as long as you seek him and put in the study time!!!!
