I love how Jensen Ackles got ripped for the show and when he arrived for filming, they were like "Just use a muscle suit" but the contrast between Homelander having a muscle suit while Soldier Boy actually being pumped fit their characters so well.

IMO Homelander anD Soldier Boy's suits are a whole tier above everything else. Most Superhero costumes in this show look cheap AF, Soldier Boy's really looks good. I also don't like Noir's dickplate and mask, the plastic clashes with the rest of the suit IMO. In the comics he had a costume a lot like Black Panther's and it looked cool af.

The fake muscles on Homelander’s suit are purposeful for the character, not because Anthony Star was too lazy to get shredded for a role. Homelander possesses intrinsic natural strength, not hyper muscular development like Captain America. He has no need to workout. This shows that Homelander is lazy, and that Vought understands that in order to appear strong to the public, he needs to be shown to have muscles.
