By the way, there actually is another opening that was exclusive to Japan. The long movie episodes at the end of the show were split up into regular lengths on TV, and they made the opening "Saigo no Kyojin" for it, made by the people who made the original first 3 season openings. I think it's better to start from P3 because there are a ton of references from P3 in P4, and after P4 you can play Persona 4 Arena since it's a full sequel to P4 and also P3

No, it's not the same singer. For future reference, each persona game has associated vocalists. Old Persona 3 - Yumi Kawamura New Persona 3 - Azumi Takahashi Persona 4 - Shihoko Hirata Persona 5 - Lyn Inaizumi The male vocalist is Lotus Juice, who is mainly associated with P3 but has done stuff for the other games, and there's also Mayumi Fujita, who does the vocals for the tracks associated with the Persona 3 Female Protagonist.
