I couldn't agree more! Personally, I think if one were to look at technology, but gaming more specifically as a whole, one could only assume it has followed a natural path of almost linear progression in terms of graphical fidelity, performance gain and colour/texture accuracy. I would assume the next logical step is ray tracing. It's a shame that Bedrock doesn't have access to a lot of mods like on Java. But what we do have, is perfectly accurate, path traced ray reconstruction that can bounce in some MC textures over 9 times in a scene, creating some of the most beautiful artwork in motion this industry has ever seen. @@GummyDoesYT The glowing Sculk like stars/glowing cave fungi/corruption contamination was first introduced on Minecraft Bedrock Ray Tracing in the 1.19 Betas. Who had this idea was a genius. And now those are reproduced in the Deferred Graphics. Deferred may be not as accurately realistic as Ray Tracing, but it's still beautiful as. Both graphics modes are incredible.

I didn't know that, that's quite interesting! It's actually crazy to think someone thought of that idea on the fly so to speak. It's such a solid and major change that I would've thought they always had pipeline plans for it from the start. That's really wild. To see it work with deferred rendering is a HUGE accomplishment in my opinion. I totally agree that it's actually cutting edge for them to rope it into consoles via the deferred rendering techniques. I wonder hey, let's say in the next 5 years or so how much more can actually be done to improve on it further. Performance yes, but for me personally, Minecraft is peaking on Bedrock with RTX and especially deferred rendering for mobile and console. Hey there my fellow miner! Thanks for viewing my short. Please note this footage was captured on Xbox and PC respectively. However, I have some videos up of when I ran Poggy's Luminous Dreams on my Samsung S22 Ultra and it ran perfectly. HOWEVER, my phone would reach nuclear reactor levels of hot after a 10 minute session. Phones unfortunately don't have enough cooling capabilities to keep up with deferred rendering on Pocket Edition, so unless you have a phone water cooler or have some way to keep it cool, you're going to end up negatively impacting your phones health and overall battery life. Hey fellow miner! The only option is for you to revert back to a previous build of the shader and run at medium settings. I also noticed some recent updates to the deferred rendering that had caused performance losses in exchange for visual fidelity - not a good trade off imo. But yeah deferred is quiet taxing on console and isn't optimized currently so well

Hey Pepa, nice to hear from you again. Hope you doing well. I have a tutorial up on how to install deferred rendering shaders on xbox - the method used to install it on the phone at the beginning of the video will be the same method you'd use on your pc as its Bedrock. Only difference is you won't need any file compressor app to open the shader once downloaded, you'd simply double click and it will automatically open in minecraft. And also search for an RTX enabled shader for bedrock, I use Kelly's RTX which can be downloaded from their Discord server. Let me know if you have any questions my fellow miner and happy mining!

Hello my fellow miner. Thanks for viewing my video. Without knowing your current settings, I'm unable to attest as to where you could make changes. However, generally speaking from what I've seen, running the deferred rendering settings at max greatly reduces performance, which in turn reduces visual fidelity. Perhaps try running the settings at low/medium and let me know? I personally capture this shader using a Series X so it would be unfair to directly compare it to a Series S or Android. On Xbox, which is what it's being run on in this short, will look better than a phone as the game is being run on better hardware. Same as how it would look even better on a dedicated gaming PC. I had the same issue on one of the fences used in the Nether Fortresses - it also had the purple and black overlay. Are you running the latest Beta Version for Poggy's Luminous Dreams? I haven't gone back into the Nether since I updated (thank goodness lmao) but I see it isn't patched for those fences. Hoping they fix it in the future but I'm still happy for RTX-like gameplay on a console. Shout out Poggy!!!

I run mid settings generally, to answer your first question. But I think more importantly you'd need to consider which Beta of Poggy's L.D and the resource settings itself in the main menu in your world options under resource packs that you're running as that will determine the colour grading. Generally switching up the settings to max wouldn't cause it to look deep fried, in fact it would just decrease your performance and increase its quality of shadows, lighting etc.

Hello my fellow miner, thanks for viewing my video. I unfortunately don't have any official news, however I can speculate based off the current situation with how shaders is being handled on the console itself. Since Minecraft has removed access to the in-game files on Xbox, one can only assume that even if Deferred Rendering was natively supported, players still wouldn't be able to install shaders via the console itself as there is no way of circumventing the file restrictions and accessing game files even if you create them yourself. This leaves us with a gap that unfortunately cannot be filled. They will never allow file access to the end users such as ourselves, so unless they some how incorporate shaders natively into their store allowing for these things to be done in the backend, there will never truly be native support. With that being said I highly doubt Microsoft would come to monetization terms with freelance shader authors to incorporate into their own store. I just don't see it

Hey fellow miner, I absolutely agree! Especially if it's running in Preview, we should be able to fiddle with and experiment as desired on a version intended to experiment. But I think integrating a way to import shaders into Bedrock for console without providing permission to the game files is what's holding this process up from being streamlined. But yeah I'm happy that it's possible, do you run this on console as well?

I have only tested this on Xbox Series Consoles and PS5 so for the purposes of maintaining accurate information, I have omitted Xbox One consoles as I haven't tested it myself. However, I don't see any reason for it not to work and encourage you to give it a try as it's basically operating on the same software and since the realm is uploaded from your phone instead of console, I definetly think it would work. I have a Xbox one x and I tried something similar when it first became available, and it worked alright it was just super framey. Not something I’d want to play survival on imo

I think at that time it was more a proof of concept than anything else. Honestly speaking the dev team at Mojang has put a lot of work into optimizing this, perhaps give it another try? Since the previous 2 updates, my Nether went from completely unplayable at 20fps to a solid and stable 60 which tells me they're putting in work. But yeah it's really cool man, to be able to see this on console. Haha I even dream about it sometimes I'm obsessed 😂😂

Yes it truly is unfortunate. But the way I see it, paying a small monthly fee to access rtx like abilities instead of dropping thousands on a decent gaming pc rig seems a bit better right

I think that on PS5 you still cannot use RTX, it is only on Xbox series x consoles

As far as I can see it's only working currently on android and windows based devices such as on Xbox. Sorry man. Hopefully in the future Sonys technology will afford for deferred rendering.
