I will never understand why they cover the windows of vehicles like that. People need to see out to avoid travel sickness. And … is it just me, or are these things painfully slow?

I'm kind of surprised that Tri-Rail hasn't gone ahead and put an order in for the Stadler Flirt trains that seem to be everywhere across the country. They are very fuel efficient and can easily be converted to use either overhead power or diesel engines. I am even further surprised that there is no talk of expanding Tri-Rail service along the ROW, but then I also realized that the Tri-Rail corridor is kind of penned in on both sides by the Dixie Hwy so any expansion would come at a loss of space for that road. Good that they finally got into downtown Miami but honestly, I think that the Miami Metrorail system should grow to cover the entire county and provide multiple transfer points to Tri-Rail, given how far west from the downtown Tri-Rail actually is.

I don't think they would use the Stadler Flirt trains because it wouldn't be compatible with the existing fleet, since they are multiple unit. Also there is going to be a commuter service on the FEC main line from MiamiCentral to South Fort Lauderdale and the operator could be Tri-Rail.

Love this catch! Tri-Rail and Brightline taking a light jog together haha. I love the wraps on the Brightline sets because it makes each train unique, but the wrapped windows have got to go. I like what they did with the newer wrapped sets and kept the windows unwrapped.

That’s an amazing video. I wouldn’t call It a race tho cause BL would definitely win and the speed of the port Lead is 40MPH for BL.

0:32 I bet Tri-Rail’s kill count will start going up now that they’ve got this shuttle on Brightline’s/FEC’s rails! You start to stop feeling bad for the people who get hit when it happens over and over again.

825 (BL36PH) Probably Does Need A New Wrap Paint But I’m Not Sure About 505 New Wrap Cab Car Heading To Downtown Miami And I Wish I Can See Tri-Rail 816 GP49 Which Is My Favorite Tri-Rail Locomotive Head To Downtown Miami But I’m Not Sure About That Too But Will See What Happens, And Plus I Really Hope More Tri-Rail Trains Come To Downtown Miami And I Wish Tri-Rail Bring More Locomotives Like F59PH, F59PHI & Series IX CEM Cab Car

Now I see how car crashes with Brightline are happening. I wish they would upgrade this to a fully electrified, grade separated, 250 mph double tracked line like they do everywhere else in the world. Use China for example. This train is a step in the right direction though.

True, And This What Happens When People Don’t Learn, Pay Attention To The Rules And Stop Crossing The Tracks While The Gates Are Down & If There’s A Incoming Freight Or A Passenger Trains Like Tri-Rail, Brightline, FEC, CSX, Amtrak & SunRail, Because The Only Thing The People Can Blame Is Themselves For Not Listening & Always Being Hardheaded Idiots. 💯💯💯💯
