Jesus was not born in sin like every other human beings because Adam had no connection with him, yet he was born in a sinner, Mary, he had to in order to bear the sin of the world. It is very clear that Jesus Christ was (and remains) subordinate to the Father, e.g., "Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.” But what is less clear is WHEN that Being who became the firstborn Son actually became subservient to God the Father, e.g., "Today I have begotten You," and "I shall be to You as a Father, and You shall be to Me as a Son", and when Jesus said, "I go to My God, and to your God", and "The Father is greater than I.” The timing of actually WHEN obedience started occurring is crucial to our understanding the scriptures, including the widely-held doctrine of the Trinity. To illustrate, notice that in Genesis 3, after Eve saw (or decided) that the forbidden tree was "good" for food, and "desirable to make one wise," and both she and Adam ate -- God said, "Look, man has become LIKE ONE OF US, knowing [or deciding] good and evil." This strongly suggests that within the Godhead, there was more than one Being who was at that time considered to be equal in terms of authority to decide what was good and what was evil. However, notice also that Lucifer (or morning star) wanted to become "LIKE the Most High" (Isaiah 14), and this is what the serpent advocated to Eve, that by “knowing” (or deciding between) good and evil, she would become “LIKE God.” Importantly, God confirmed this by His own words when mankind exerted their independence from God: "Look, man has become LIKE ONE OF US, knowing [or deciding] good and evil."
