It’s doesn’t have to be close to the exhaust. It just needs to pick up the sound of it. The bumper or boot works well. I hope this helps🫡🙏🏽

😂😂😂 The bite point of the clutch in a mk1 is very easy to find. I also make sure I clutch balance BEFORE I come to a standstill.

It's a shame the rest of the road is closed. Does anyone know if it'll be fixed and opened in the near future? Edit: With the little info i found, it's been permanently closed to road vehicles since the 2000s due to constant rockslides. I guess it wasn't a priority for the city to fix it, because it just leads to more hiking trails. Not as important as Clarence Drive (very used route to coastal towns and a tourist attraction) and Chapman's Peak Drive (similar reason). Still quite a shame. You can see the rest of the road on Google Street View and it looks like a reeeaaaally good time.

You can use any mic you want, and the sound was a lot of trial and editing. The mic placement will be based on your preference.

I read online that detrumpting the intake is similar to a cold air, except that it doesn’t consume as much fuel. I wanted a cone filter, but chasing the sound would be the end of my wallet😂😂
