I've been trying to learn about consumer drone "engineering" but it's starting to seem like there's really no such thing. There's component engineering and component assembly, which means it's really no different than building a PC or RC car or any other device with standardized interfaces between control logic an actuation. Is that right or am I missing something important before I start selecting the right combinations of frame, control circuit boards, motors, etc?

Mine has massive tailspin and I don't know why... I put new tail motor on and still the same problem... I also made sure the tailblade was on right... And tried to trim it out but same thing... It just goes in circles on startup... I tried reversing the tail wires and it's spins even faster

My walkera v450d03 spools up by itself and the devo 7 throttle percentage is reading higher than usual, rather than 2-3%, it now says 9% or up to 20% and the helicopter then starts to power the motor on. How can I fix this?
