Pre-Disney, There was a whole era of Star Wars Fan Short Films. Many cut their teeth in VFX simply to make Star Wars shorts as devoted youths and become professionals because of it. Even if the softwares were niche and primitive, the love and reverence was apparent. What is on display here harkens of that devotion. Not whatever the fuck the Mouse has done to the Franchise. Alas, Its all a valuable lesson in impermanence. Many IPs & products have been lost to similar 'buy out enshitification', but the Star Wars bastardization in particular stung deep due to its universal legacy. -- not to mention their ruin of Marvel, or their future gaze towards the Alien$ franchise. Hope the Mouse gets its karmic rat poison some day. It would be good riddance.

I can't believe you started this project as an editor and not a VFX artist. This is wildly impressive and not just for a SW proof of concept but as a demonstration of how far passion can take you. Hats off, I'd LOVE to see this fully realized over anything Disney has in development.

George Lucas always said his idea for Star Wars was to be like an old Saturday matinee film - so why not? I think more stories - more fun. I don't think any more films could dilute the brand more than Disney has done to milk the old cow to death. Hope you get funding and IP approval.

Love the idea of a Sith that has no affiliation with the empire. Just an anti-jedi who seeks to wipe out empire Sith. I feel like the girl and guy are a little too close to Kylo Ren and Rey though. The only thing I'd adjust. Also agreed with the comment about Disney. no wonder it looks good. It's such a shame how they're destroying everything that was built. Ahsoka, the new movies. Mandalorian was the only good thing that came of it honestly. Even changing lightsaber and force mechanics with no understanding of how it works.

Now insert some Diversity, equity and inclusion and you'll make a true Star Wars film................................. But seriously very nice work.
