That was fun to watch! By the way, I have a Jeep and had an unusual problem with Xpel. I had a partial hood removed just a couple weeks after application due to a scratch that I caused (doh). It was done by a local expert who has added and removed PPF from my other cars before. The Xpel came off the important surfaces with no problem at all. But just under the hood, where it was wrapped, it pulled a fair amount of paint off too. Looked to me like it pulled the paint of the primer. It is not on the rolled edge that has the exposed clear coat paint, so no way at all that the repair shows. Since it is really not visible, I filled in the gaps with touchup paint, waited a few days, and they reapplied Xpel to the hood. You need to take a flashlight and really look hard under the hood to see the repair. Ever see anything like this? Not sure if I should do anything else or just wait and see. (I noticed that in some newer cars and trucks they are just priming under the hood anyway.

I appreciate these videos, I always like to watch something like this before going into a hard install. Feeling way more confident with this fender now, wish me luck!

Very quick and simple, a lot of people spend over 1 hour per car part while you do it in a breeze. Flawless work

I have a durango with a racetrack tail light that just WILL NOT take a taillight tint without pulling back, and it's not even THAT deep of a recess. I've cleaned it thoroughly and I've used 3M 94 and even that won't have the vinyl bond to the plastic. What can I use to have the vinyl adhear to the tail light?

I’ve personally used legend and many other films. I’m sponsored by Xpel now. Legend is barely a mid grade film. I don’t recommend this film to anybody unless you’re just practicing to start but I’d still use something better.

I strongly disagree. I’ve told my XPEL rep that the recent production runs of XPEL PPF is B+ at best. I’m not sponsored or beholden to anyone so my opinion isn’t biased.

I believe it''s impossible to not cut into the paint when trimming on the paint 100% of the time.

Ottimo lavoro, considerando l'estrema difficoltà del cofano, molto spigoloso e concavo in molti punti. Il prodotto che spruzzi, cos'è? Acqua e sapone o un gel diluito? Complimenti ancora 💪

That's a great tip with the undiluted soap on the ridges. I'll try that out on my next hood. You've got to love the audio issues. LOL I hate it when I loose the audio on one of my recordings. You get to watch your video an extra time while you record the voiceover.

Hi. Thanks for sharing this. It looks so cool and will be handy if we don't have to worry about re-pressurizing every time. If you don't mind, could you tell me about the pressure out of that thing? I usually use between 80psi to 60psi(make it 80psi, and then refill when it goes down about 60psi) on my keg. Is this thing capable of making about the same pressure? Thanks in advance.

I have no way of checking the pressure in the hose so I can only assume it’s close to 60-79 psi. It puts it the volume and right amount of pressure continuously for us.

Is that the same Mike Sanchez from down in the valley there in Texas. ? I think I've met him a couple of times at Ray Levy's, when he was with 3M, and then Sungard. Way before Madico bought them. Anyway, we're a Suntek in the white mountains of AZ. We're solid in the tinting, and while being exposed to the PPF industry never pursued it full time. Well as fare would have it were moving into PPF. What is your perhaps mix for your tack solution and what angle is on those blades your using. Enjoyed the video new subscriber. Take care.
