After seeing your video, I'm definitely thinking of getting a Cam fitted for my Hunter 350 When I can afford it, Being a Yorkshireman, We're a bit careful with our money like Scotsmen LOL 😅 But seriously, have you thought about fitting a Fuel X Lite on your Royal Enfield Classic, As it helps lean burn engine's run cooler, and prelongs the engine and engine Oil 👍 As I have put them on both my Interceptor and Hunter, As both have DNA Air Filters and After market Silencer's, But I've only done 12 minutes on tick over, So after seeing your video, I'm going to be doing them both for 30 minutes each now 👍 Thank you very much for that, Great channel Cheers Paul Foster 👍

I left Crieff about 22-23 years ago and moved to Northern Ireland (after 2 yrs in the republic) so I love seeing videos of bikers going through Crieff and the surrounding area. At the end there I was saying ‘don’t stop the video yet’ to myself as, once you got to the bridge I had the middle flat for a couple of years in the big building at the other side (it’s the old jam factory). A 100yds along from there on the left is the fuel depot I used to drive tankers from, then you’d hit my home village of muthill 4 miles further on. Great video, thank you

From memory I think my bike had covered around 5,000 miles when I installed the camshaft. It’s now done almost 10,000 trouble free miles (apart from a faulty speedometer that is). If I was you I would wait until the engine is fully run in and a bit more, say around 3,000 Km. That way you get to experience the bike properly before installing the camshaft. Hope this helps and enjoy your bike 😁👍

Did a Himalayan 411 and didnt need locking pins. Whats going on here?
@tigerness555511 күн бұрын
🤣 Great comment. I’ve never worked on a Himalayan so can’t comment on that. As for the locking pins on the Classic 350, I do recon that I could fit the performance camshaft without any special tools. But for the purposes of the video it was important to demonstrate the correct and safest way to fit the camshaft. I’ve heard about others who have had professional dealers fit the camshaft without the proper equipment with the result that the camshaft timing was set incorrectly, resulting in the bike running terribly. Hope you enjoyed the video 👍

Thanks for taking us along on your ride, it was amazing. I camped just outside Crieff in June last year and rode all four loops of the Cloverleaf, one of which I added a little detour to in order to visit Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. I have recommended the Crieff Cloverleaf to numerous fellow bikers and suggested it as the ideal way to get a taster for riding in Scotland, if you have never visited before. That said, even if like me, you have been visiting all your life, the Cloverleaf routes will show you parts of Scotland you otherwise wouldn't visit, as they are so far off the usual tourist routes.
@tigerness555513 күн бұрын
Hi Neil, great to hear that you’ve enjoyed my video, and also wonderful that you’ve also ridden all of the cloverleaf routes. One of the reasons I keep making these videos is to try to promote Scotland as an amazing place to come and tour with your motorbike. We sure do have some amazing roads, the weather isn’t always brilliant, but the scenery is always dramatic. I’m so lucky living here and being able to ride on these roads all year round. The road up to the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse is another fabulous long winding road with amazing scenery, definitely well worth the trip. Ride safe, Ian

@tigerness555514 күн бұрын
Great to hear that you enjoyed the video and have found it helpful. As for changing the oil, if you follow the instructions on the video you will need to drain the oil before taking the clutch casing off. Because of this you will probably be fitting a new oil filter and clean oil. In my opinion there is no need to then do another oil change, simply go with theservice schedule.
