Fantastic hike!! The hiking trails are well maintained. Fascinating that it leads to the border. I wonder if they've had trouble with crossings there. Seemed fine while y'all were visiting.
@TravelingAtoZКүн бұрын
It was a nice trail. There was a lot of blankets in the bushes on the trail from people crossing the boarder there. I wonder how many people actually cross the boarder there?

This trail looks great! I'd definitely need some hiking poles to keep me going if there was elevation. Neat that it's right to the border - the wall made me laugh though, not the most effective.

We were shocked at the wall situation since the US makes such a big deal about the boarder wall.

I'm conflicted in how I feel about this - my adventurous side is screaming YES do it and my claustrophobic side is screaming no way in heck! it does look incredible, so I might have to brave it if we ever get out that way!

wow on so many levels. Thats THE wall!!! I can't believe its so easy to get around and if you were thin enough probably get through. Nevertheless! so basically pretty easy to jump into Mexico! talk about a whole lotta nothing!

😂we were shocked when we saw the wall and then all the empty space around the little piece of wall.

I lived in those mountains, just down the road from that park , for31 years....nice spot, but Laguna mountains are better with cleaner air. Please remind your viewers to not litter. We got pretty sick of the plastic, the candy wrappers, the baby diapers, ,and All the rest ofthe flatlandes' trash.. sometimes in eary Spring, the water is high enough to cover the break-water, buut then, when you walk across it, it looks like you are walking on water.
@TravelingAtoZ19 күн бұрын
I agree. I wish people would be more considerate and pick up after themselves so it doesn’t ruin the park and beauty for others.

I love that you’re all still smiling despite the bad weather and having to turn around when you’re all so close. I’d still consider this a win. Great video! Not sure about the lightening but I’d invest in an umbrella for future hikes. I’ve used regular umbrellas which I loved but decided to invest in an actual hiking umbrella with the silver sun reflector which I hear keeps you cooler by about 20 degrees and you can use it to collect rain water to filter later. Although it will add weight to your already heavy packs. Thanks again for sharing this fun video!
@TravelingAtoZ29 күн бұрын
I will have to look into a hiking umbrella. It may make a big difference for the weather. Thank you.
