Yes, depending on the job. I recently cleaned a very old stainless steel urinal that had heaps of uric build up on the bottom and lower half, along with the step. I used an acidic toilet bowel cleaner that worked really well, the urinal was very dirty and actually stained my rubber gloves!

I forget the brand now as its some time since I've used these gloves. They are a single use glove but much thicker than normal for hazardous situations
