Can anyone identify the structures in the poem ( repetition, different voices or themes in stanzas, etc)

10 years after, having had the privilege of attending this talk, I still find myself recommending it time and time again. And I'd recommend you'd read his book: "Never loose a customer again".

$5k in one month profit to the company? Thats pathetic. Make $5k a day for a company and they will pay better.

And I have met peopple.who work a job that used to be "their own bosses" and hated it and are much happier just going to job, doing the work, and then going home and not worrying about anything related to work. Happiness doesnt solely lie in your bank account figures and useless crap you buy. Just because you own your own job doesnt mean you escaped the rat race, your just in another never ending maze...

I'm sure this guy is good at his job, but really didn't tell us much. For example the last woman is wiggling her foot, and he says "that made her suspicious..." but he did NOTHING to help the viewer understand how they correlated that behavior to a cheating method....HOW was she hole-carding? What was her technique? Was the foot signaling someone? Who? Who could see her foot moving that would be able to cause someone to profit.....? On the whole, not well done explanation-wise.

This is sooo true Jayson. I coach professional athletes, c-suite execs, and filmmakers ... and part of it is the practice of 1) spreadsheet of tracking a list of contacts, and 2) mission statement (literally and even more importantly figuratively) and speaking from your reader's needs. The amount of crazy connections I've personally had, from Elon Musk through a "random" friend who was going to vacation with the director of his documentary ... to many many others ... like teaching 007 Pierce Bronson's god children how to swim from my classified ad ... I really appreciate who you are and would love to stay connected.

Just got a call from a ladyfriend driving across Nebraska who listened to this podcast. I'm an author/journalist who's interviewed the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, NFL MVP Tom Brady, Jeff Bezos and a lot of Oscar winners including Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Anthony Hopkins, Alicia Vikander, etc. I'm working on a cool idea about successful people, who may not be famous, but have impacted their industries. Cheers/Ashley J. Collie

Principle 1: Commitment. Say what you're gonna do and do what you say. Principle 2: Go above and beyond. Do more than what is asked or expected of you. Principle 3: Never complain. Be thankful and respectful. Principle 4: Choose your path and stick to it. No matter what anybody says. Principle 5: Delay gratification. Principle 6: Have perseverance and persistence. Principle 7: Learn upside downside decision making, also called situational analysis by the military. Principle 8: Change your frame of reference and develop grit. It's important to go out of your comfort zone and do something (seemingly) so bad that it makes the rest of the day easy. Principle 9: You gotta be passionate about what you do. Because if you're passionate, it's not work and you'll hustle through the difficulties.

Brilliant talk, Joe speaking nothing but common sense. The funny thing is we all know this, but we all have a filter that squashes the common sense to be replaced by excuses

Thank you Clay, very inspirational. Been spending a couple years trying to license inventions to companies with out any luck. Consumers meanwhile like the products so we will instead launch via kickstarter.
