In 14 years of coaching, Pete Carroll Seahawks made the playoffs 10 times, won the division 5 times, went to Super Bowl twice, winning once. It won’t be easy to beat this record. McDonald will have his work cut out for him

According to everyone who was alive ten months ago, The Seattle Seahawks were supposed to be the most terrifying team in the league last year. I hope that the coaching change, as well as what we do in the draft makes this actually happen.

That's silly... If you put the best qb with the same rotating O-line you will get about the same results. KC has heavily invested in O-line 🤔

Coaching can not fix the poor tackling… Tackling is an ingrained habit by the time these players hit the league. These players have tons of speed, but the poor tackling will cost them a championship, if they even make the playoffs?

I think that you can improve tackling as a team! Pete didn’t allow tackling during OTA’s or training camp. I think McDonald can theoretically make this defense elite! However, it’ll take a year or two at minimum…Give him some time, we can’t expect our defense to all the sudden be the best in the NFL! Thankfully we’ve got a lot of talented players on both sides! McDonald will get the most from his defensive players and Grubb & Gruff will make this offense extremely potent once again! I’m super excited for this upcoming season…#GoHawks #12’s

@@JJDonoghuewe’ve seen effort on the field. The intensity of the hits isn’t the issue, it is the finishing the tackle. Jordan Brooks forgets he has beastly arms, where Bobby almost always uses his arms to finish a tackle.

I'm not sure Lockett has a ton of trade value anymore. He is still very talented, but he doesn't have the same speed that he has become known for. If we could get a 3rd I'd be impressed.

Penix had the best OL in the NCAA and still got banged up, though he played through it. His passes are a thing of beauty, but I'm a little apprehensive about his longevity in the NFL, getting chased around by Donald or Bosa with an Oline that needs an upgrade.

We'll some ups and downs this year I think..give it a couple years to see bigger changes. Patience is key with all these coaches and getting the players to learn and get on board with the scheme

Theres going to be some learning that has to happen but it shouldn't take years. We watched McVay come in and have an 11 win season followed by a SB visit. Demeco just did the same thing in Texas with a first year rookie QB and far less talent on both sides of the ball than what Seattle has. If these coaches are who we think they are, we should be expecting a playoff visit at least.

I'm gunna be real. I think the Bears need to draft Marvin Harrison. I don't see why people are so in love with Caleb Williams. Dude can scramble around but his arm is so unimpressive. I watched some Caleb Williams highlights and it's just him trying to act like Mahomes and throwing to a wide open receiver. I saw so many balls that were below average that got completed and actually messed up the receiver's route and the receiver made a good play or had to come back to an under thrown ball when he had like a 5 yard separation. That isn't going to happen much in the NFL. I was way more impressed with Michael Penix highlights than Caleb Williams. I'm not a Bears fan either, I'm a Chiefs fan. If the Bears want to trade Fields I get it but if they draft someone go with Penix later on. Don't waste that first overall pick when you have a generational no brainer with Marvin Harrison Jr sitting there. Trade down to the Pats or the Commanders and see if you can get some extra picks. Fields isn't great but the dude needs some stability before you can seriously judge him. I say if Penix is there at 9 see if you can set up a trade before hand with someone like the Raiders or Steelers and try and get a first out of Fields when the 9th pick comes around.
