What is your rec for an outdoor screen to the mars 3. And what about the capsule 3 vs the cosmos?

mars 2 pro has big designflaw, the projection reflects on the side of the round cutout, giving you an ugly greenish lightbleed topleft of your projection image.

Does the Mars 3 charge from a PD in case you need to give it some extra juice at full brightness?

Does this have an upgradable streaming dongle? My Epson EF - 100 has a compartment with a dongle you can replace with whatever you want.

Hi! Afaik, it does not. The cosmos 1080p does have a dongle for android tv in a little compartment but I don’t know if it will let you swap it for something else

The more I test the projector the more I hate it. The processor is weaker than the Capsule 3 which is an A55 processor vs the A52 in the Mars 3 Pro. I do not understand why they chose to cost cut such an important function. The software is absolute garbage to use which is antithetical to the selling point of the projector.

That’s my bad- the WiFi In the warehouse is spotty and it wasn’t playing back HD very smoothly. Next time I’ll either run an Ethernet or run a video off a recorder

$1000 for a projector that doesn't even support the native netflix app. Sadge

The Netflix support on the Mars2 is pretty bad. I have the mars 3 at the shop and will check the Netflix app and get back to you. I am pretty sure it runs native through Android tv but will double check for you

@@RandoProjectorReviews-jg2ul I just got my unit in. It doesn't work with Netflix natively as expected and uses the horrible web workaround. Also the android 11 is really sluggish. Big disappointment for 3x the price of the pro w

@@disciprine I was incorrect - you're right. You can't download Netflix from the Google Play store but rather through the Nebula app. I haven't been able to get past the login screen as I haven't figured out how to switch from the mouse mode to a keyboard input. I haven't watched anything on Netflix in a long time, sorry I didn't catch that on my review. But at least Max / Disney / etc... seem to run natively. We were just watching a movie on it

@@RandoProjectorReviews-jg2ul The netflix app from nebula is really bad. It only streams in standard definition in addition to the awkward mouse mode. I'm also seeing a lot of lockups with the software and the unit not responding for multiple seconds after pressing buttons.

@@disciprine it seems like the Netflix issue applies to the whole Nebula line. Hopefully they come up with a fix down the road. I use an Apple TV with my cosmos, but that projector doesn’t travel out. I haven’t had the lag issue but I can tell you the remote only works when pointing at the front of the projector. I thought maybe something was wrong with it but it’s that the IR receiver seems to be in the front. Would be nicer if it was Bluetooth
