It has some slight pops at low rpms when Im slowing down or downshifting sometimes. I currently got rid of my resonator and swapped my y pipe for an x pipe. It’s definitely louder but still rarely pops.

Yeah I definitely didnt mean to say I was tuned for that video😂😂. Im looking into the RR racing tho, if you wanna get tuned. They have a great tune that adds some power and raises the rev limiter for power curve. Its very reliable too brodie

Oh cool, Id suggest looking for a 350 before the 250. Its faster and valued a little higher than the 250, but the 250 is an amazing car. So with a resonator delete, your car is probably gonna drone a little louder and gonna be quite raspy. Thats if you do a resonator and muffler delete. If you just delete the resonator without the muffler, you wont notice any difference. With a vibrant resonator you will have a very clean sound, lite drone, and no rasp whatsoever. I had the vibrant resonator and muffler delete, but now I have pretty much a straight pipe with an x pipe as well. I think the vibrant resonator and muffler delete was perfect for daily driving but the straight pipe system is raw.

@@danielbadawy7323 Yeah no…Its definitely gonna be noticeable. Its something that you are gonna hear regardless. Even just gently pushing the throttle you can hear it quite nicely from a distance. Even when you floor it, it can definitely be heard but I wouldnt say it’s necessarily screaming or nothing like that. I think its absolutely perfect, quiet when you want and decently loud when you want. Although it was decently loud, I wanted it louder. Thats why I changed from that set up, but that set up is probably the best set up for that car in all honesty

@@prodby.e Oh dang 70k is crazy good. I do drives her rough on occasions but typically Im pretty chill. I have a 2008 as well, but mines has about 125000 miles on it. Ive had it for almost a year and only maintenance Ive done is oil changes. I do check coolant levels too considering I need a new radiator, but even with that the car has been very reliable

@@JoeVQ No problem and no really. Make sure you assemble it tightly tho if not youre probably gonna get a check engine light. My check engine light was on and my car was running lean for a few days after I put on the new intake. The ecu either learned the new intake system of it might have been loose the whole time causing the engine light. My car is currently running fine tho and no lights. Its much louder tho

@@JoeVQ nawww when it was running lean it felt like a major loss of power. Everything is running correctly now so it feels a tiny bit quicker, but not by much. I think the intake is a great buy for the price. If you want power you should look into the rr racing intake and tune

@@SpitefireAllDay So for this Vibrant resonator and muffler delete set up it was about 330 I payed in total. I brought the resonator from amazon for about 60 dollars or so. Nope I havent any lights come on due to my exhaust at all. Depending on what you like most people seem to like the resonator and muffler delete instead but I believe its more rasp too.

Hey man, thats clean a gs350 brodie. Imma be completely honest and tell you Im not sure if it will hurt or add performance. If it does it probably wont change anything noticeably tho. So I say go for it as far a sound goes but power changes wont be noticeable

@@lexus_250_mari8 oh. It sounds like a F-sport to me. Lol! Me being broke as heck just modded my oem airbox to sound and function like the F-Sport one. Took me hours to cut everything off and get the correct cutout size. xD Waiting for a K&N filter to arrive. And idk maybe I’ll change the oem tube to something soon.

Might also upload some youtube shorts soon just for the sake of posting something. :) Also you notice any gains with CAI, and muffler mods? Or at least better throttle response/acceleration. So far I noticed a little improvement with my airbox mod. Engine no longer sounds asthmatic as I like to call it. :)

@@nimmord.12 Hey man, we live and we learn. Yeah my set up is kinda loud but not raspy at all. The drone isn’t bad either with the radio up. I definitely would suggest my set up or maybe just a muffler delete. As far as the exhaust goes, I didnt really notice any difference whatsoever. Thanks bro and its a 2.5 liter v6. 24 valve doubled overheaded cam produces about 204 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. Its definitely one of the slower cars out here but its mad smooth and it feels a lot faster than it is.

@@lexus_250_mari8 nice, that’s surprising. I would’ve thought it was a bigger engine based off of the sound. It sounds like it would be very smooth. I have a 2013 g37 sedan and it has a 3.7l v6 with 328hp and 269 torque. That engine, the vq37vhr, which is also a 24v dohc but with vvel and cvtc, sounds very similar to this Toyota engine. Maybe that has to do with the valves and dohc. Sorry to go on so long, just hard to find good positive people on KZfaq nowadays lol.

@@sharkfinsoupp Ik RR racing has a supercharger I can buy that would bring me to about 370 hp on pumped gas I believe. There is a turbo kit but its rare for the 250’s unfortunately. From what I understand, the ecu is very hard to tune. Also with the engine compression ratio, it would hard to seriously boost the car. I would love to slap a turbo on this tho honestly, would be a game changer

@@lexus_250_mari8 I beat the dog shit out of mine daily. Missed oil Changes, I don’t bother with maintenance at all unless my breaks are really done for. It runs like a tank bud. I really treat this thing extremely poorly, sometimes all my oil is burnt up and I get a Low engine oil warning, pull over 5 mins later off the highway, top her back up with 5w30 and she’s good as new 😂. I’ve done it so many times, also sometimes I just don’t even bother replacing the oil filter either. This thing is a tank for sure. Every time I get in the 250 though after I ride the 2020 300awd I realize how much better the 250awd handles around sharp turns and roundabouts at higher speeds, but the 300awd is tuned to is350, and it feels a lot faster. I generally enjoy the 250awd 2007 driving experience more though. Going fast isn’t everything to me and if anything I prefer to not have that much power cuz it’ll keep me out of trouble. Most of the Roads in my area are trash too good luck going over 120kmh. Hit a typical Toronto pot hole at those speeds and she’s fucked 😂

The reason it has lots of drone is because it has no resonator and the no cats just will smell a bit in pretty sure and I would just do either vibrant resonator and muffler delete for the cheapest option and good sounding or get a proper exhaust for the is250 when he gets his license because I’ve heard one a small amount of exhaust that’s actually sound good it’s better if you just build it like this and not straight pipe it because there’s too much rasp with that

Yes, it does drone particularly on the interstate when you’re going 65 and above. Its not bad tho. If you roll your windows up and cut the radio up a tad bit, you barely hear it. I think this set-up is perfect for daily driving honestly
