It depends on type of booking,single PNR or Separate PNR. At Hyderabad in any condition you have to collect the baggage,clear customs and re check,whether its in same PNR or separate as its international arrivals and its mandatory to clear customs at port of entry. At Chennai if its on same PNR don’t have to collect and will be given at Trichy but if on separate PNR have to collect and recheck.

You can take paid porter service which can be booked at baggage area. Sometimes in such case (lady traveling alone with kids) AirIndia provide assistance but its not guaranteed or mandatory but you may ask/request.

If booked on same PNR then baggage would be transferred by airline. If booked on separate PNR then yoy cant use internal transfer,have to go to baggage area,collect baggage and exit terminal,take elevator to departure level,check in baggage at airline counter and then proceed to security and then to gates.

Its tight but doable,as booked on same PNR get in touch with airline staff at Bombay as its very much their responsibility to get you the connection. If possible try to get seats in front row and disembark early from Aircraft and be fast to reach immigration. Best of Luck.

Till now no such facility ,have to take by self to T1 for domestic flight of Indigo. This process is same for any other airport in India having separate International and Domestic terminal,at Delhi ,Mumbai ,Chennai or Ahmedabad same process is followed if arriving by International flight and connecting flight from separate terminal.

If its on same PNR then more than sufficient,it hardly takes 15-20 minutes to reach departure area of T1 after arriving.

Ager same PNR (booking) par hai to kisi tarah ho jaega ,Mumbai Delhi T2 se hi hai na? Kaun sa airline. Jaldi karna hoga ,ager koi doubt ho to airline staff se contact karna,wo help karenge,Mumbai T2 mai chalna bahut padhta . Apna arrival aur departure time aur airline share karo.

You should have shared complete itinerary. In any case even with departure from T2 it's almost impossible,check in/baggage drop for domestic closes 60 min before departure and it's almost impossible to pass immigration,get baggage,clear custom and reach check in counter in 20 min.

Sorry I misread the timings. Ignore previous reply,you have more than sufficient time.After clearing custom you would arrive at arrival hall,no need to exit,take escalator/elevator to departure level from arrival hall,then check in your baggage and proceed to security.

Yes more than enough when booked on same PNR. If separate PNR without check in baggage its enough too but if separate PNR and check in baggage then extremely tight.

After custom there are baggage transfers desk of AirIndia/Vistara ,you can check whether its operating or not,if operating can check in baggage there and proceed to departure,if not then proceed to departure and check in at airline counter. Both domestic and international departure have common check in area and security,after security its divided between domestic and international.

You don’t need to exit,after you clear custom you would be at arrival hall,just search signage of departure hall,its both on left and right hand side,use elevator/escalator and you are at departure level,drop your baggage at Indigo counter and proceed to security.

International passenger can by at international terminal (arrivals )when arriving.

Though airlines don’t like this but can do it.This is called skip leggings,no procedure for it,just exit terminal after getting baggage and clearing custom,no need to go to departure. If your return flight or next flight is on same PNR then can’t do this otherwise no issue.

Extremely tight,early morning is worst time for immigration due to maximum arrivals from mid night to morning. Check in for domestic closes 60 min before departure so 6 AM. You have 1 hr 40 min to go through immigration ,get baggage,clear custom,take taxi to reach T1 and then reach check in counter. Easily 1hr plus to exit T2 ,taxi ride 10-15 min to T1 . Best of Luck

No,you have to exit and take taxi (shuttle bus also available landside but you don’t have time to use),no airside transfer,both terminal are good 6-7 km away.

Considering asking for domestic to domestic transfer on same PNR it's more than enough,you will certainly get some time to relax in lounge or food at any of the food kiosk/restaurant. It's 10-15 min to transfer from arrival ti departure plus 5-10 min ti walk to gate After security.

If don’t have to collect baggage then 10 min to exit T1,if baggage need to collect then add 10-15 min for collecting baggage and exit,5 min to exit T1 and reach T2. If re check in required then anything around 10-30 min for check in ,check in for international open 4 hr before departure. Immigration 10-30 min. Then 5-10 min to reach boarding gate.

Did you booked separately? A589 is hop on hop off flight currently operating by AirBus A 350 on route BOM -MAA-BLR (though you shared in opposite directions) . For such connection passengers wont be disembarking at Chennai,have to wait in Aircraft. If its booked separately then have to disembark,collect baggage and re check baggage and for that time is very tight. Check in counter close 60 min before departure so 20 min to exit ,get baggage and reach check in counter at departure level. To reach departure level (check in area) have to exit the terminal,take elevator to departure and re enter. Do check your ticket,the time you are sharing is arrival of AI589 from Bombay and departure time is for Bengaluru.

Ok so looks like a joy ride. You would be flying BLR to BOM to MAA then BLR. If I am not wrong then you won’t be having baggage. In that case even with re check it its possible. Do web check in for MAA BLr flight. Last when I visited they working on domestic transfer,exact location on 2:09 in the video (right hand side). If that completed then can use that,would be transfer to departure area within few minutes of arriving. By any chance its still not completed then just exit,take elevator and re enter,will take 5-7 min more.

Its too tight. It can easily take 60 min to go through immigration,get baggage and clear custom and check in for domestic closes 60 min before departure so you have just 90 min to do all arrival formality and reach check in counter for domestic. You need to be fast ,try to get front seat in flight to Mumbai,disembark as early as possible and run fast towards immigration. After coming out to arrival hall after custom take elevator to departure level,in any case don’t exit the terminal otherwise that can easily waste 10-15 min to re enter terminal at departure level. Once check in done another run to departure gate through security,gate closes 25 min before departure so have to be fast. One positive point is that after noon is mot so busy for international arrivals. Normally all domestic airline have 15 kg check in baggage? Which airline you are flying? If its 15 kg then you need to buy extra baggage.

Depending upon real time situation have to take bus to taxi. Baggage depends upon type of connection. Ask him to wait outside domestic arrivals (gate 1 or 1), after baggage in place of taking elevator at arrival hall just exit the terminal,then you both take elevator to departure level and then enter terminal together.

Both are at same building,Domestic (and international) arrivals are at ground floor and international (and domestic) departure is at level 1 . Entry is common for international and domestic departure,only after check in area both are separated. Only difference if you exit and re enter is that it can have queue at entry gate which can take 5-10 min which can be save if you take escalator from arrival hall (after baggage) .

This video is about the same,you have to walk from domestic arrivals to departure (which is common for both domestic and international). Only thing which you have to check is baggage. If both booked on same PNR then you don’t have to collect baggage,just proceed to departure and then to immigration and security. T1 is just 2-3 min walk from T2. Even when you book journey from Abu Dhabi to Calicut on same PNR with Indigo needs to get the baggage after immigration,clear customs and then walk to T1 and re check in baggage at Indigo counter at T1. After exiting T2 turn left and walk few meters and you would be at T1 arrival,take elevator to reach T1 departure.

Yes for any international arrivals at India have to get baggage,clear custom and re check baggage and you have to do the same . You can take baggage on trolley from T2 to T1. If traveling with 18 m/o I would avoid 10 hr layover if possible. Why not fly directly to Kozikode ,AirIndia express and AirArabia fly direct from AD,more option from Dubai. Or check any connection with less layover,can see via Kochi with 5 hr layover, Once you enter T1 can’t exit the terminal in normal circumstances. There is one hotel at metro building where you may rest for few hours . There is lounge at T1 after security but mostly over crowded throughout the day. Wifi is there for 45 min but need to have Indian number to get OTP and activate.

If both phase booked on same PNR then no re check of baggage required,baggage would be transferred by Airline (most probably Indigo).In that case time is sufficient,T2 to T1 is less time taking than reverse order. Still I would suggest to avoid shuttle bus and go for prepaid cab,can save 5-10 min minimum and when connection is tight then even that 5-10 min matters.

Not internally (airside) but extremely at land side. There is a foot bridge with travelator connecting T1 baggage hall/check in area to T4 Check in area/Baggage hall. Can also exit and take golf kart .

Yes,till now no internal transfer available. When you arrive by international flight after customs you would exit from same set of gates and then take elevator/Escalator to departure. If you have connecting flight on same PNR then after custom do check about baggage transfer desk on right side. They were supposed to start that facility for connecting passengers where you can drop your baggage at your airline (Delhi have this for AirIndia/Vistara connecting passengers) and then proceed for departure but was not started till my last visit last month. If both are separate booking then as usual have to do check in at departure.

Yes 75 min is sufficient if everything remains ideal. There are 3 parts, 1st aircraft to baggage,2nd wait for baggage and 3rd transfer to departure area and check in. It can easily take 10-20 min to reach baggage area depending upon arrival aerobridge or parking bay. Baggage experience at T2 is good.Most of the time when you reach the area baggage already started to arrive at belt so 10 min is good and then just 2-3 min to departure floor and then search for your airline check in counter. Do keep in mind that check in for domestic closes 60 min before departure so hope this 75 min is extra of 60 min .

Just to clear confusion,does 100 min is gap between your arrival and departure time? Check in counter closes 60 min before departure so if you have baggage to check in you should be at counter before that. If its 100 min then practically you have only 40 min to do check in and that would be tight,you need to be fast and hope your baggage is among the first to arrive.
