Amazing video! I believe you understand your own engineering very well, but your ability to explain it is a little cringe haha the phase change part really got me

Sadly unwatchable because of mic or method used to compress video. I just can't sorry.

using text-to-voice is so, so, so, so, so, so much worse than just adding the text you already wrote as captions/subtitles

Can you re-film? The sound is very poppy and makes it hard to hear

@@AliziaKaline Oh come on.. It isn't unwatchable. The subtitles work.

mate, your last video had shocking audio and yet its the same here. You have some great content and information but i really cant watch your videos with such bad audio. Thing is you know its bad but dont fix it!
@danielbloom247010 ай бұрын
Yea I know. I've been trying to play with the filters. The issue seems to be heavily my microphone. I spent a whole day working on it just to get it this good, which should shock you even more lol. If I make another video I'll spend a good amount of time working on it.

At least the latest 8 videos are unwatchable due to the audio (yes I do hit the dislike button for this kind of offence). If it is a USB mic and it is capable of recording audio normally, I would guess the CPU i too busy when recording the video and drops USB packages

Maybe do a voice over after recording videos?

Great video, but I REALLY don't want POLLUTANTS in my BASE!!!! My question is: I've got gases in my water pipes and water in my atmosphere pipes and I can't get rid of either in my base. My little 4x4 base is growing lots of food with 50%N, 30%O2, 20%CO2. I've got approx. 2% H20 in the AIR as a mist and I can't get rid of it. Would someone PLEASE explain to me how to do the above? Thanks.
@danielbloom247010 ай бұрын
I couldn't give you the best solution for that other than to cool your base to 0 degrees celsius so that the water condenses at room pressure before heating it back up later. That would be my best suggestion.

EDIT: A /much/ simpler answer, having popped into the game to work on something... there's H2O filters now, so you can just slap those in and vent it, or do a simpler version of below and condense it back into a liquid. I haven't messed with this system too much, but unless I'm missing something (quite possible), this /should/ do the trick. Make a bunch of pipe with the devices to let you adjust it's temp and pressure, and will it with your atmosphere. Get it's pressure and temperature into the range that causes water to condense into a liquid, without impacting he other gases. The water vapour will convert into a liquid, which can be removed into a liquid pipe via the condensation valve (if i remember the name right). You can then run the atmo mix it back into atmospherics.

I think your CO2 pipe burst because the CO2 turned to ice. The patch notes say ice will potentially burst your pipes. "If you were to use a purge valve to constantly remove the boiling off gasses from a liquid pipe, you'd notice that the liquid will keep boiling until it's cold enough to reach its freezing point. Freezing liquids in pipes will burst the pipe and create ices in world." I think your pressure regulator works like the aforementioned purge valve. Keep it up, man. I enjoyed watching you experiment over my morning coffee.

I'm trying to find the "purge valve" that you are talking about. I've got gases in my water pipes and water in my atmosphere pipes and I can't get rid of either in my base. My little 4x4 base is growing lots of food with 50%N, 30%O2, 20%CO2. I've got approx. 2% H20 in the AIR as a mist and I can't get rid of it. Would someone PLEASE explain to me how to do the above?
