The Moodies are among my favorite bands, they're cruelly underrated, and way too often reduced to their hit Nights In White Satin, while I find their 68-70 and 78-88 records even better than Days Of Future Passed! And I find it incredible that they're at the origin of one of the most iconic and copied metal riffs of all time! You could also have included ZZ Top's Beer Drinkers And Hell Raisers, Kansas' Mysteries And Mayhem, Budgie's Wildfire, Venom's Welcome To Hell, Celtic Frost's Morbid Tales or Nasty Savage's Incursion Dementia! Thanks for hightlighting the Moodies' contribution, they're rarely mentioned when this trademark metal riff is mentioned!

The myth of the Germans being far right was started my Commie professors and pushed by the government that didn't want the population angry about the west working with the Soviets during WW2. They are both on the left. Both are slightly different flavors of socialism.

Wrong. The NSDAP only had "socialist" in their name for the purpose of garnering the initial votes needed from the far-left to take over. In practice, German economics was much more aligned with a corporatist model than anything left-leaning.

yes, he sounds incredible for sure. From what i was told Adrain Gautrey uses a modern digital keyboard to recreate the sound. I did speak to him in London a couple of years ago but never asked too much about the organ, just that he recreated the Vincent crane sound so damn good. The one he played that night at Shepherds Bush empire was built into a repro Hammond B3 cabinet. Here it seems it was athe replacement keyboard as explained by Steve Bolton as their van was stolen with all their equipment in it.
